On the charter bus

Ohhh y'all, how did my life get so busy?  I often wonder when I'm supposed to get stuff done.  It's hard, and I don't even work outside of the home.  I always have one or three kids with me.  They are needy, clingy, and talkative little people.  I don't get time to myself unless I'm asleep.  Many times that is interrupted by Bitty falling out of the bed or Annie crying.   Despite my full plate, I still find time to take pictures of the little people who make life so crazy.

Wannie eating a squeeze apple sauce and making a mess!!!!  Yes,, she loves life more than anyone I know.  She's guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
The child hates covers!
Yeah, it's that time of year again.  Fancy is back at the capitol making decisions with the other Reps.  He got his 15 minutes of fame last week when he was in the Clarion Ledger.
Tuesday some of the legislators were chauffeured on a charter bus from Jackson to Oxford to see Ole Miss playing basketball at the new Pavilion.  Trey invited Ford, and he JUMPED on the chance to tag along.
About 10 minutes after I dropped him off to catch the bus in Batesville Ford called me.  He was thrilled to tell me: A- The charter bus had a bathroom on it.  B- You didn't have to flush or put the seat down.  (I beg to differ on the flushing part).  And C- that they had popcorn and cheetos.  I immediately asked to speak to his daddy and said, "DO NOT give him Coke under any circumstances."  Caffeine could be bad!
Needless to say, Ford had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!
Dad has been staying with us some during the week.  Last week I signed him up to babysit while I got my hair highlighted.  When I got ready to leave he was snoozing in the chair.  I sure hope he watched the littles while I was gone!
I don't see any no leg touch days in her future.  Those thighs will be rubbing together for years to come!
Bitty is a bean pole!
Annie is still fighting the ears.  The ears.  THE EARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel so sorry for her.  Breaks my heart.   We NEED tubes!
Every morning she rises with the roosters when momma does... 5:20-5:30 AM.  We then spend "girl time" in the bathroom getting dressed!
Thank God for beautiful days and playing outside.
No words
We went to a birthday party this afternoon and did a little photo shooting...
That's Bitty in the middle.  He would make a pretty girl!
I don't know if I've ever mentioned that I teach Sunday School to 11-12th grade girls.  Recently, I decided that we needed to start memorizing scripture that went along with our lessons.  What better way than to write it down and hang it up somewhere you will see it daily.  I put mine in my closet so I see them several times a day.

So we went to the doctor on Thursday.  Annie's right ear was infected.  Started antibiotic.  Monday night was BAD!!!!  She was yelling all night.  We went back to the doctor Tuesday.
After waiting for 55 minutes the doctor came in.  The right ear is worse and he said the left ear looked wicked.  She's on the strongest meds they can give her.  I want my baby to feel good.

It was the 100th day of school celebration today.

Mom has been gone 3 weeks today.  This isn't going to be another blog about my feelings.... one will come soon.  I just wanted to mention that people have been so sweet, thoughtful, and kind.  I get text messages daily saying, "I'm thinking about you" or "I'm praying for you".  I get hugs and hear caring words and have gotten lots of cards.  Thank you, Megan, a blog follower for your card.  That was very kind!

Wan Wan is 11 months old

This bundle of preciousness was 11 months old on January 23.  It's hard to remember life before her loud squeals and funny grunts.

She has yet another ear infection.  I've honestly lost count at this point.  But she weighed 21.4 lbs on Thursday.  Girl is healthy.

Things she loves: to be held, sweets, animals, sips of your drink, ice chips, when the boys share their suckers with her, bath time!!!!!, nursing (yes, we are still going strong), sausage muffins, cookies, balls, outside, Patty Cake, peek-a-boo, other little people, music, chewing on any and everything, cuddling, and people.

Annie loves playing Patty Cake.  She smiles and squeals.  When you stop she grabs your hands and wants to keep singing.
Annie doesn't like: putting clothes on, having her nose wiped, when Bitty is all in her business, getting out of the tub, baby food (she will only eat baby yogurt), getting in her car seat, and when she wants to be held and no one picks her up.
I think she might be left handed.  The jury is still out.

She has 6 teeth.  Two on the bottom and 4 in the top.

Annie wears:
Size 4 diapers
Size 12 month clothes
Size 2-3 shoe

Nicknames:  Annie Wannie, Wan Wan, and Bitty calls her Duchie, and Ford calls her Anna-Duch.  (Who even knows why?!?!?)
She wakes up about 5:30 AM
Nap 8:00-10:00
Nap 1:00-2:30 (gotta wake up to get Ford)
Bed 7:00
I now know why God gave us this surprise child. Not only does she complete our family, but he knew she'd make me happy when I was experiencing hard days thinking of mom.

We love you, Annie!!!!

New blog below...

No snow, ears, and Puddin hunting

Sleep is very important to me.  It's essential.  If momma doesn't get good sleep then my day is shot.  Bitty use to interfere with my good sleep.  The child would get in my bed every single night.  A year ago, I wised up and put him in bed with Ford.  Now this wasn't a good idea according to Ford, but I'm pretty sure he's okay with it now.  One night I went to check on them and found this....
The Bit getting slicked down one morning.
He insists that she sit in his lap because he's the "big brudder", but she's as big as he is!
The way to pump gas in the winter.  Ohhh and I finally got my suburban back from the wreck on Christmas Day.  It only took 3.5 weeks.  I must give a BIG shout out to Pops for letting me drive his Yukon while mine was in the shop.
When the baby looks like this you know something isn't right.
So you make an appointment at the doctor.
And she has another ear infection.
Annie got her special pillow made.
This side was made from one of Gran's nightgowns.
Thursday night they canceled school for the following day. The teachers told the boys to wear their pajamas inside out so it would snow.
This is all we got.....
So we played inside and built secret hideouts in closets.
And Bitty would rather stand in the corner than tell me he won't yell in the house.  He has trouble using an inside voice.
The beginnings of learning to read.  The struggle is real....
Ears hurt so she won't lie down.  We played instead!
We had some friends over to eat pizza Friday night.  Annie was amazed with another little person.  She kept trying to take her toys.
Yesterday, Trey wanted to go hunting.  I didn't.  He recruited Puddin. What a good sport she is.
I'm not sure he saw anything!!!

February recap

Axton and Griff both played on Ford's BPA travel team last year and this year that came to our school!!! "Momma, take my picture!&q...
