When Trey and I returned from our six day hiatus, life went right back to busy, normal.  Kate invited Annie over to swim one day.  They always have big fun!

We've had problems with raccoons and possums getting on our back porch so Bitty wanted to take matters into his own hands.

Annie will spend second grade with Mrs. Bouchillon.  She's on her third Lamar child now.


Bitty got the new teacher for Language Arts, Mrs. Kendal.

He has Mrs. Penny for math, science, and social studies

My friend and baseball mom, Alanna, posted that she washed her zip couch cushion covers.  I followed suit.

Nasty nasty nasty, y'all.  I soaked them 3 times before I washed them!

Our story this week was about origami.  I offered an extra credit project to make their own origami.  They did so well!

Momma and Daddy Take a Trip-Part 3

Now we are on to the last leg of our trip.  We left Key West, drove about 20 minutes to I don't remember where, and got a on boat.

The trip was planned beautifully because each stop got better and better.  The boat ride was 10-15 minutes.

And we arrived at Little Palm Island.  It's 5.5 acres.  No kids.  No TV.  Hardly any guests and just the right amount of staff.

The last night I felt bad so no make-up to dinner.





I couldn't sleep because I was trying to stop taking my restless legs medicine, so I was chilling by the pool at midnight.
