Preparing for Willis

Who would have thought that picking out baby stuff could be such a hard task? I have decided that I need to take a Baby 101 class and get updated on the latest inventions and products they have on the market these days.

So far I had done a pretty good job of putting off the job of picking out fabrics, furniture, and other baby necessities. Today, I decided would be a good day to begin preparing for our son’s arrival into this world. Who knew there was so much stuff to choose from????? If I ever thought wedding planning or house decorating was hard, boy was I ever wrong!!!

I picked out a few fabrics for his bed and window treatments. I decided to stay away from a theme and maybe just keep it simple. I was fortunate enough to have the help of my mom and mother in-law on this eventful journey. We had a productive day, but there is still much to be done.

I added a few of Willis’s (his play name for now) outfits, including the Carhartt overalls that I gave Trey for Christmas so they can be twins. I am really getting excited about our baby and how my life is about to change forever.
