Miss Madison Becomes Mrs. Madison

Miss Madison got married on January 6 and asked to get ready at our house.  We had a lot of people getting hair and make-up done.

Miss Madison asked Annie and Anne Walker to be her something "blue" in the wedding.

We have prayed and prayed for Oliver and he got to come back to school after Christmas.

Annie got her A.R. goal and memorized all of her Bible verses.

About two weeks ago Bitty called BoomPa and asked him to come stay with us and watch Walker Texas Ranger.   He came.  We watched.  

Bitty went duck hunting with Daddy.

Annie had her first City League Basketball game...

Daddy gave Annie a gun for Christmas and they went hunting...

We sure love some Birdie.... she spent the night.

Fourth Term for Him

On NYE I ventured to Tupelo to see my Grandmother.   Wow, it's kind of hard seeing her.  She's 97, is skinny as a rail, and doesn't have a clue who I am.   We talked about the same thing for an hour.  

NYE is one of Trey's favorite nights.   Seth and Julie come stay with us along with their kids.   We eat and shoot fireworks.


January 2, I went with Trey to Jackson as he was sworn in for his 4th term.



He even go to be temporary speaker for about 30 minutes.

Then he had the honor is swearing in the new speaker and his friend, Jason White.

That night we headed to The Speakers Inaugural Ball.

Two days after Thanksgiving I dropped my car off to be fixed and was gifted this go cart.   I drove this thing for 6 weeks and put over 2,500 miles on it.  

Saying goodbye was hard.   I could whip that car into any parking space.
