He Didn't Want To Go, But She Did

The school was hosting a Mother/Son Dance and Bitty didn't want to go.   I suggested that I'd get some friends to go eat before the dance to ensure that boys his age would be there.   He agreed to go under those circumstances.

They were too cool to dance.

Well, we hadn't been there long and he asked to leave, go home, shower, and hop in my bed to watch HomeTown.

Someone was super excited about baseball season and laid out all his goods to show off.

City League Basketball is over....

Losing ticks him right off.... Can you tell???

Someone WAS excited to go to the Father/Daughter dance though.....

She needed a new dress and new boots!

February Photo Dump

Just dumping some photos here.   Annie girl was working on  a science poster....

I want to be that mom that my kids remember decorating for stuff.   Valentines is a fun time to celebrate.   I always throw on a decorative table cloth.

It made my heart happy that Ford wanted these bracelets.

I stopped by their parties!

Brother loves candy.

Ms. Hayes had her 60th the day after Valentines.   We surprised her with gift cards and cash.

Annie learned her multiplication facts and will get to attend multiplication ice cream party.

St. Jude week was fun dressing up!
Another project for Annie.... An American symbol

DDD Tea Day

I was a tri delta at Ole Miss many moons ago... 2001-2005.   I got an e-mail about an alumni tea.   Ohhh and you could bring your daughters to the tea.   Now Annie didn't have a clue where she was going, but she's all about a good time so we went.

Our Anna Greer was a DDD too, so I recruited her to go with me.

Patty was a DDD.

Both of her daughters were DDDs...My mom and Aunt Ashley were too.

Anna Greer, Douglas, me, and Annie....

Annie and Sally Francis....her mom is one of my best friends.

Ohhhh it's things like this that hurt my heart so badly.   My mom would have LOVED to have been there with Annie.

RTT TBS

Thank goodness that Easter Bunny stopped by.... Trying to take pictures of my kids isn't the easiest thing ever..... We recreated a 2016...
