Easter Marathon Part 2

We are still steadily hopping down that bunny trail...

Wednesday morning I headed over to Annie's Easter party.
Nora, Annie and Laike
I went upstairs and hid about 175 eggs for the little ones and they loved scooping them up.
 Annie and Maggie
Next to impossible to get a cute picture of little kids...
 Anne Walker and Annie
3 males and A LOT of females
I LOVE being able to make these memories with my babies.  I remember my mom always being there too.
Thursday I set up at The Baddour Center gym for Bitty's party.  Fortunately the egg hunting was done on Tuesday.

Price, Bitty, Eli, Sean, and Carson
Mrs. Beverly giving them the instructions on how to hold Buddy, the bunny.
 Ohhhh the cuteness
He still loves his momma, and he's still small enough for me to hold.
 4K
I cleaned up and headed to the church gym for Ford's second grade Easter party....
See how Sister holds her head down and looks over the top of the glasses?!?!

We put glow in the dark tape on the eggs, gave the kids flashlights, turned off the lights, and let them hunt 576 eggs.
 Ford and Veazey
We went home and did projects then went to hunt eggs at church last night...
They won't stay up on her nose!!!!!
Ohhh but Bitty's new ones fit nicely!
Part 3 to come soon...

Easter Marathon Part 1

Grab your seat belts and hold on because this momma has been going, going, and going some more.

Back in August, at "Meet the Teacher", Bitty's teacher and Ford's teacher both asked if I'd host the class Easter egg hunts.  I agreed to do so.  Last week I had the flower beds cleaned out, bushes trimmed, and new pine straw put down, and Trey and I both mowed.  Then,....the weather forecast got nasty.  Real nasty.  Therefore, I had to make other arrangements for twenty 4k students and forty-eight second graders.

We started with Bitty's class Easter egg hunt at school on Tuesday....
I hid 220 eggs on the football practice field.  Advice: if you send plastic candy filled eggs anywhere, PLEASE tape them closed.  I had candy flying all over that field.
 Sean and John Brantley
My dad put his house on the market on Friday and by Tuesday had a contract.  He is still steadily gifting me treasures.  This was a wig mom never wore, but my kids love it.
 My Zeus crown
And Tuesday Annie got her glasses.  The struggle is real #1 to keep them on and #2 to actually look out of the lenses and not over the top!!!!!!
"Thay huwrt my eawrs"  (They hurt my ears).
We talk about how beautiful she is in them everyday!
Tueday Bitty had his second game.  Patty and BoomPa came to watch.
Ford insisted on helping coach...in his uniform.
Puh and Pops came to watch too!
Wednesday night Daddy came home and he brought the kids' favorite candy: Nerds, Sweetarts, and Air Heads.  (Side note: he informed me on the way home he didn't have prizes.  I strongly suggested he find a gas station asap!)
Year #7 in the books....
Y'all.... I need a college credit for all these second grade projects.  I think it's about 3 each 9 weeks.  Yesterday and today we spent a total of 5.5 hours on two separate projects.  This one is a 2 liter coke bottle made into a character from a book along with a book report.  It looks horrific, but that head was hard to do.

RTT TBS

Thank goodness that Easter Bunny stopped by.... Trying to take pictures of my kids isn't the easiest thing ever..... We recreated a 2016...
