Resurrection Sunday

Easter!  It’s the most important holiday there is.  Christmas is big, but Easter is bigger.  Without Easter aka Resurrection Sunday my sins wouldn’t be forgiven.  Jesus had to die, for me, and you, in order for us to go to Heaven.  It’s even more special to me knowing that my mom spent Easter in Heaven with Jesus, and one day I will see her again.   How nonbelievers get through grief, I will never know????

My kids are early risers.  You put them to be at 6:30 or 9:30 and they’re still getting up with the roosters.  With that being said, I decided to put a “STOP” sign in the hall so they wouldn’t see their bunny treats before I was able to document it.

Bitty's
Annie's
Annie got a bikini, not shown in the pictures, which her daddy was unsure about!
My pretty baby girl.  It's still funny that I get to dress a girl, when I never thought it would happen.
Yep, the man lost his Pez.
It was a sad morning.
After Sunday school and church we headed for lunch at the country club.  Annie played in the ice bucket most of the time!

Back to the old school

There's honestly no way for me to catch up on blogging and life.  I'll just do the best with what I've got.  And today we've got another random assortment of pictures and nonsense.

Ford made the school paper....
Bitty pitching one because he didn't get his way...
So Ford lost tooth #1 on December 21.  Do you see that it still hasn't grown in!?!?!  Well, he started messing with the next door neighbor tooth and it turned gray.  Fancy freaked when I text him a picture so I sent the dentist a picture per Fancy's request.  He assured me it was ok... the tooth had died and it would come out soon.
Bitty needed to help wiggle it for his Bubba.
And he made sure I documented the wiggling.
The next day his teacher sent me this....
On Monday I picked up the boys from school.  The Bit was cranky cranky cranky.  Well, white ice cream (that would be vanilla) makes it all better.
Annie wants to know where her Sonic treat is.
Ford just wanted Sprite.  He isn't my sweats eater... Bitty is.
 We painted eggs...
 Sticking your tongue out helps
This is the letter V they learned at school, not to be confused with the #2.
So I hosted the 3K Easter party at my house (more to come on that).  When I told Bitty that the girls got to hit the pinata first he got UPSET!
Since I do some fancy cooking I thought a rotisserie chicken would be appropriate one night.  I couldn't buy this one because it had tears.   (Notice the steam inside the container making the moisture run down the sides...Bitty called it tears).  I love love love the mind of a child.
We have a long driveway.  God gave me two boys to help with stuff like this....
Bitty's 3K Easter party at our house on a rainy rainy day...
 We were missing 3 kiddos...
And naturally, he wouldn't sit with the Bunny so we had to recruit his friend, Walt.
We did the pinata and snacks in the garage.
Bitty's party was from 8:30-9:50.  Then I raced to the school for Ford's.
Thursday night Anna Greer, our babysitter, went to prom.  We had to go see her all dolled up.  Unfortunately, Annie had just gotten up from a nap and the boys had been in the pasture checking cows with our neighbors/family across the street, so we didn't look too cute.
Then we headed to the church for egg hunting and games.
Anna Lauren, a big 7 years old, loves Annie.  She shared her plate of food which is an instant bond for Annie.
Friday we headed to Oxford to eat, shop, and see Granddaddy.  Puddin and BoomPa came.
Square Books Jr. is always fun...
Boom was steadily picking up the disaster caused by my three.
Begging for a shubble (shovel) and a rake.
Then to the VA to see Granddaddy...
He was big time concerned with what each child was doing while we were there.
Belk was a good stop afterwards.  There's nothing like a size 3T body buying a size 6T pumpkin shirt.  But when it's $3.58 and 50% off you just have to!
Chunky loves pizza like her momma!!!
And in big other news, I have been married almost 11 years and today I bought my THIRD washing machine.  Yes, ridiculous and a lot of other words.  This is what my washer looks like when I open it.  It takes 3 hours to wash a load.  I'm done.  We got a Speed Queen and it's coming Monday.  I'm going back to old school things!

Thank goodness that Easter Bunny stopped by.... Trying to take pictures of my kids isn't the easiest thing ever..... We recreated a 2016...
