Tis Ball Season

It's cranked up and in FULL swing, baseball season that is.  There have been lots of practices and tournaments.  This past weekend we played Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Friday's game was at 8:00 PM.  That means Sister was struggling.
It was cold.  She was out cold!
 The ride home was quiet.
Saturday and Sunday proved to be warmer.
That wagon sure has come in handy, not only for hauling things, but for resting as well!
Bitty's superhero class.  (He's the top right in the gray shirt and red mask.)
I'm not sure if Annie or Ford took this picture, and I also don't know why they took it.  I was going through my pictures and deleting all the junk ones and ran across this one.  I am not sure why I kept it.  Is it because Bitty is watching me (as he always does)?  Do I like it because he's on a riding toy in my house (someone always is)?  Do I feel guilty that he's probably wanting me to hold him and I am putting away dishes?  There are so many possibilities this picture holds.
Trey and I got out of the house recently to support The Baddour Center at "Dancing FOR the Stars".  It was a fun night benefiting the residents of that wonderful facility.
Always fun to run into Rachel, my third grade teaching companion.

It was a doable picture

You know that saying, "It takes a village" (to raise a kid), well, that still holds true.  I can't do it all on my own.  Therefore, you have to call in backup.   Puddin took Sister to the dentist today while I educated young minds.  All the candy she likes to feast on is catching up with her.  TWO cavities.  I told Trey that she had two cavities and didn't get much of a response.  Then I showed him the estimated cost of what those fillings will take out of his pocket, and he sort of flipped out.  Welcome to: Camp Nazi Mom....we are about to crack DOWN on this candy and juice drinking, Lamar kids!
Soooooo as I have stated before, I don't like to do things that make me inconvenienced, might elevated the blood pressure, or cause me to lose my religion on my offspring.  Taking pictures WILL do that to me every time.  We had professional pictures taken of the family about two weeks ago.  The goal was to get one of Annie to frame.  I have framed pictures of the boys, but none of her.  Not one was frame worthy.  I told Trey I would try again myself.  This is a brief overview of the over 100 I took.  Here we go.........
Ohhh and I missed the memo on NO glasses, so we tried again...
 TYPICAL
I'm not so in love with this one, BUT when you've taken over 100 and she's acting like a duck, sumo wrestler, and clown.... you just commit to a doable picture.  This is doable.

Two new posts below....

Professional Pictures

I really don't like to be inconvenienced, but seriously, WHO DOES?????  Taking family pictures can send a normal, mild-manner, not Type A person...over the edge.  I am clearly NOT describing myself in the above characteristics.  However, Trey Lamar has been on my buns for over a year to get professional pictures taken of Annie.  I can think of any excuse in the books NOT to do them.  Well, he has planned an event at our house in the near future, and we are trying to prepare for this "event" and I decided to cave, have pictures taken, and get one framed of Sister.  We took pictures, she was in a lovely mood, and NONE will be framed.
