The Tomb is Empty, He Has Risen

When my mom got sick my walk with Christ grew.  In the last 6 years since Trey and I have been involved with the youth during Sunday School my faith has grown.  I can now say I long to read my Bible everyday.  That wasn't necessarily always the case.  I spend time reading my Bible every morning before the rest of my household is awake.  It's a sweet time and I have grown closer to the Lord and in my Biblical knowledge.

Easter is amazing.  We celebrate because He Lives!!!!!!!

Eggs and Stuff

Being back at work after a 6 year sabbatical can prove to be challenging at times.  For instance, I don't want to miss a thing.  I just don't.  I have many memories of my mother always being at my stuff.  I want to be at my children's' stuff too.  Thursday I took a 1/2 a day so I could swing all the Easter parties.  Annie's party was at our neighbor's house at 9:00.  I volunteered to host Bitty's class at my house at 10:00 and Ford's class at 12:00.  Well, mother nature had different plans, so I didn't host a thing.  However, the weather held off for Annie's hunt to be outside.
They hunted eggs and within 2 minutes the rain started coming down so we moved into the garage for pictures, games, and snacks.
After 45 minutes we headed to a local gym for Bitty's party since the rain made it impossible to stay outside.
 Kindergarteners...
The littles and I jetted to school to pick up the third graders and head to another gym for the their egg hunt.

BoomPa and Patty stayed with us for two nights and she took this picture of the boys getting hugs from their momma.
Today we needed a field trip so we went to Bass Pro.
It's pretty high up at The Look-Out.

We had lunch at the top.  Annie was like a bottomless pit....she kept eating!
Bitty wants this for his new hunting backpack.
Trey came home the other day and said I was in the newspaper.  It was funny because back in November a student asked me if they could send me some questions for an interview.  I said that would be fine.  Nothing became of it.  Then in February, I got an e-mail from a student with questions about myself.  I assumed it was for a school newspaper, which I'm not even sure that the high school has one.  Nevertheless, Trey came home last week to tell me I was in the local paper.  I'm glad he showed me because I never read the paper.
