Future DDD

Hello.... It's me again, the every other weekend blogger!  I'm just over here trying to keep up with my family so I can document this for the future.  It's getting harder and harder to do, but I refuse to quit.

Last weekend Trey and I went to the Ole Miss game where I didn't take one picture.  Puddin took these of Annie for me!
Ford knocked his teeth out two weeks ago and had them replaced.  He complained of pain for a week so I took him back to the dentist.  He had to have a root canal.  No biggie....Just $719.
 December 2018 vs. September 2019
Trey took the boys to the Winona Christian Academy football game the other week to watch John play.  His daddy is Trey's bff in the legislature.
Bitty: "Momma, can I sleep in your bed and Daddy can move me when he goes to bed?"
Me: "Of course"   (and he wanted to hold hands!!!!!!!)

So, as I think I have said, I moved to fourth grade and I'm teaching reading and spelling to all 50 fourth graders.  One of those fourth graders happens to be Ford.

I'm really liking my classes and the freedom to teach how I want to teach.  For instance, I asked if we could read a chapter book and was given the "go" on that.  I selected Frindle which is one I had read many times.  We spent two weeks on the book and were all sad when it ended.

As a take home project I had them all to create their own Frindle.  (Frindle is about a boy who renames a "pen" a "frindle").
I hate to read.  I do and here I am the reading teacher!!!!!!  Ohhhh the irony!  However, I am trying my BEST to make sure my kids love to read.  I send Scholastic book orders to my students.  They have been ordering so many books that I got lots and lots of points.  I was able to get over 60 free books for my classroom.  I had some points left and Bitty begged that I get him some Junie B. Jones books.  I did.  He was pleased!
Ella Grace, one of my students, cheered Annie on at her soccer game.
As you know, Ford is playing pee wee football, which means some games are far away.  We went to Cleveland on Thursday and the ride home was a struggle.
I signed Annie up for cheer camp this weekend.  She loved it.

After they performed... Annie: "Is that is?  We don't cheer anymore?  That sure was short!"
Ford isn't playing fall baseball, but was asked to play with a team this weekend.  I was very very impressed and pleased that my determined son batted left handed.  He set his mind on switch hitting and did it.

Trey also checked Twitter...

Annie and I headed to Oxford today to see Douglas, a sweet friend and babysitter, accept her DDD bid.
Of course Our Greer was there
 So excited for Douglas!

Wanna Be a Baller

Being 2/3 boy mom, I am planning to spend a lot of my life at athletic events.  Ford has tried his hand at most of the sports that Senatobia has to offer.  He's currently into pee wee football where he's the starting QB for the fourth grade.  I stole all of these from a facebook page...no photo credits to me...
One of my students made this collage for me of Annie.  I honestly don't know when she took all these pictures!

Today I was asked to be in the junior high pep rally skit.  This was completely out of my comfort zone.  I prefer to be a spectator instead of a participant.  However, I was asked, so I agreed to play Tic Tac Toe.
Last weekend after Trey did some bush hogging, he decided to check his deer cameras in the dark.  First mistake.  He stepped into a hole and hurt his right ankle.  Being the injured man that he was, he insisted he couldn't walk and rode on Annie's car down the hall!!!!!!
Sincerely a busy mom....

Thank goodness that Easter Bunny stopped by.... Trying to take pictures of my kids isn't the easiest thing ever..... We recreated a 2016...
