The Queen is 11

She broke the tradition.   I couldn't believe it.   The last few years, we have gone to stay in a hotel with Birdie and her mom, Mrs. Callie, and this year she didn't want to do that.   She wanted to have a spend the night.   

I DO NOT LIKE A SPEND THE NIGHT!!!  Girls can be drama.   Feelings can get hurt.   People can get left out.   I also capped her off at 5 friends.  My bad.   My fault.   Yep... it caused problems.   But I am not the kind of girl who likes to feel overstimulated.   

Since Trey and I have had back issues and bought several mattresses.... we just so happen to have an extra king-sized mattress lying around.   So there was the extra bed.

Ohhh and the queen wanted a vanity for her birthday.   She picked it out.   I ordered it.   It came in two huge, heavy boxes with no less than 85,000 pieces.   That was an immediate HARD NO for me.   I knew Trey wasn't going to put it together so I offered to pay the boys.   Ford did about 15-20% and Bit finished it off.

This!!!!   This right here was his first time playing on a field in a real game since June.  Not a practice, but a game.   It made my heart so happy that his arm is almost 100% healed.
And we finished his mosaic for Latin.
All headed to school together like old times!!!!

Never Been to the Peabody

Bit is like a survivor.   He can kill his dinner, prepare it, and cook it.   I think this was duck.   I am not 100% sure.   He put it in a brine overnight, marinated it all day, and cooked it.   Let me add that he also watches dudely cooking shows.
It did not turn out exactly the way he wanted it it to.
Our school does Candy Grams at Valentine's.   My children each got one from Reese, Eli and Bonnie.   They are little ones from church that my children love.
Regan turned 51 last week.   She recently told me that she had never been to the Peabody.   Trey booked dinner at Amelia Gene's and we went to the Peabody after.
