The Big Guy Came

Ohhh how I love Christmas.  I remember when we lived in West Point, being extra excited and wild on Christmas Eve night.  I would sit by the fireplace and think I heard Santa's sleigh outside.  My love for Christmas has continued on into adulthood.  I am still just as excited, but this time it is because my children are excited.

We are still on the no video games or other electronics kick.  Ford got corn hole, a telescope, a motorized boat to drive in the lake, hunting stuff, and nerf gun supplies.
Annie racked up with a Barbie house that's taller than Ford, LOL dolls, a cash register, and a keyboard that makes lots of annoying sounds.
Bitty got a train set that you can see in the corner, nerf gun attire, a motorized boat like Ford, Legos, hunting stuff, and a new glove.
They slept in matching pajamas.  Ford woke up at 5:15.  I told them we'd do Santa at 6:00.  So at 6:00 I woke up the littles and lined them up for the run through.
 The run through...
Trey videoed.  We waited.  Annie cried.  I assessed the situation.  Then I gave the boys the go ahead on running since she was acting 3.
 The boys made us presents....
 Make-up on the cheeks...
 Ohhhh what a mess!!!!!!
At lunch we headed to Puddin and Pops's house.  Puddin read "Twas the Night Before Christmas".  Whenever she read the word "the" you had to pass your envelope.  When the story was finished you got to open yours.  Bitty got the $100 bill.  Ford got a $5.  Annie got a $10.  I got a $1.  Not sure what everyone else got.  Bitty said that was the best game ever!!!!!
 Bobba with her great grandchildren
 4 generations...
Puddin addressed a gift to Ford and Vance.  We couldn't figure out what those two might possibly share.  It was supposed to be for Ford and Bitty!
Dreams still come true... he got the stuffed peacock!
A big Christmas will wear you out!!!!!!!!!
Trey and Ford went hunting at the old farm and Trey killed this big guy.
Christmas break is long.  We made a birthday cake one day for someone.  Whomever had a birthday that day we celebrated for you...candles and all!
Ford insisted on cooking breakfast one day.
Yesterday I went hunting with the boys...
And to end the day I made Trey play ice cream shop with Annie.  Her ice cream costs $300.00!
