Labor Day

Labor Day = the dove hunt, birds, or lack there of, sweat, bugs spray, good food, memories, squeals, and lots of laughs.

We look forward to "the dove hunt" every year.  The children especially love getting together with everyone and playing.  It's just a fun time.

There were literally no birds.  Someone sent a message to them to take cover and boy did they!

So I shot a beer can instead!

Oil and Water

We are never home.  I jokingly tell people that we just sleep at our house!  A few weeks ago, I posted on Facebook that I wished my family didn't always expect me to be the one to cook for them.  Y'all, the next night my neighbor brought us a casserole, homemade bread, and this pie!!!!!!!!  God is love.  I was so pumped.

A few weeks ago all fall athletes were recognized at a home football game.   Ford, unbeknownst to me, signed up for cross country.   Well, he was recognized.

Annie went to cheer camp, learned some moves, and got to perform at a football game.  I would say it was right up there with her best life moments!!!


The same neighbor who brought us supper surprised us with monkey bread the next week!

We built a screened in porch and it only took me a year to get furniture.  It's perfect now.

Last weekend both boys played baseball in Oxford.
