So my friend, Nike, has breast cancer and has spent a lot of time going back and forth to M.D. Anderson. This has been going on for months. She's left her husband and five kids at home while she went to get treatments. On a Thursday night, Callie asked me if I wanted to go to Houston on Monday. I said yes.
Callie picked me up and was not impressed I needed to check a bag for one night. Sorry y'all.... I don't pack light!
We arrived at 9:30 for our 10:30 flight which was delayed, changed, no pilot, blah blah blah. Our 10:30 flight left at 6:00 P.M.
When Callie booked our room she told the person why we were coming. The lady upgraded us to the president's suite and decorated the room for Nike.
There are still some amazing people in the world.
We made it at 8:00!
We had dinner downstairs.

She finished radiation and got to ring the bell!!!!!!!!!
