NWCC Soiree: A Garden Gala

Last weekend, Trey and I attended the Soiree at NWCC, where Pops received "The Spirit of Northwest" award.  I was excited about my dress, which I had ordered, and the spray tan I got for the first time in 14 years.   We got to go backstage and meet the singer for the evening, Dave Barnes.

I feel like the MHS JV/V teams have played so much baseball lately.  They are really talented boys and a lot of fun to watch.

The other day my cousin called and asked if I could have lunch with her.   We ate at the new place in town called Cheebo.

Ohhhhh Y'all..... I get some new door decor and I LOVE THEM!!!!!   Trey will kill me when he realizes what I paid, but they make me happy.

I love a collage of stuff on a wall.   My half bathroom has been a fun project to put together, and I am loving how it turned out.

The fifth graders went on a field trip to see Matilda.

Annie participated in "Secret Sister" this year.   She was matched up with an older girl, and they would give each other clues all year about themselves.   They had a luncheon, exchanged gifts and revealed who they were.

We went to see the school play, "High School Musical."   Griff did a great job!

Fishing: It's His Thing

Springtime comes with lots of fun and such.   Our church had a blowup costume kickball game the other night.   Annie couldn't have loved this more.

It was kind of weird not hosting Annie's class Easter egg hunt, but Meg said she'd do it....so I passed the torch.

This man loves to fish.    And thankfully, the weather had gotten nice, and he can fish now.   That's his thing!
