My father grew up not far from Philadelphia, MS, where the Neshoba County Fair takes place every summer. I have vague memories of going when I was small and riding the rides. Back in the summer of 2008 I went to the fair to campaign for Puh when she was running for Supreme Court Justice. I haven't graced that place with my presence since then.
Now Trey normally goes to the fair and I got to opt out since I have school starting. Well, I'm out of luck with that excuse now. So I went. Now don't think I went with the best of all attitudes. Being hot isn't my most favorite thing and I don't like communal sleeping arrangements. But that sure happened.
Robyn and Rhea Tannehill were "THE HOSTS". I do mean that. They fed over 100 people lunch and invited us to stay with them that night.
Now the ride around the fair grounds in this car was my favorite part!
