Sunflowers

 So I took the children to the pediatrician last week for "well-child check-ups".  I think this is important, even though I think I forgot to take the boys last year.  Oops!!!!

Here are the stats....

FORD

weight 72.8 pounds- 10th percentile

height- 57'' (4 feet 9 inches)- 22nd percentile

BITTY

weight 52.6 pounds- 9th percentile

height 49.75'' (4 feet 1.75 inches) - 10th percentile

ANNIE

weight 45.6 pounds- 42nd percentile

height 45.5'' (3 feet 7 inches)- 36th percentile

We have a family farm out from town.  They had planted some sunflowers and Trey really wanted to go take pictures of the children.  We hopped in the car on Friday and headed that way.  As we were driving, I could see a storm rolling in.  We literally had a 4 minute photo session.  Here she is....

Ohhhh these babies are exhausting but I would not want to feel exhausted for any other babies!

Watercolor-Part 3

Being gone for 14 days can get intense.  If you don't believe me...then try it.  

One day we went to Seaside which is a rocks throw away.  Annie needed a hair wrap.  It was $4 per inch.  That didn't seem so bad until she had 12 inches.  $48 later we were done.

Ohhhh wait.  I forgot.  On the way there, Bitty jumped up on a small retainer wall and fell off.  He bloodied his knee.

We then ate at a Taco stand followed by snow cones...and we found the cousins.


I found out my childhood best friend was in Grayton Beach (5 minutes away) so we busted in on them.

I celebrated birthday #39 at the beach.  I do appreciate a good cake.


Headed to dinner.  We made Patty and BoomPa drive all the kids!

Second Vacay Part 2

Dad and Patty weren't much of eating out with us, but that didn't mean we had to stay in.  Our first outing was Fish Out Of Water.  I am surprised we didn't get kicked out of that place.

Ashley and Jack stole someone's hat from the table behind us.  Then Molly Cate pulled one of Bitty's ear hairs and he forevermore screamed like a mad man!


Where we stay in WaterColor is in a neighborhood type area if you will.  Most people use golf carts as a means for transportation to get wherever they want to go.  You can drive to the beach, park, and hike a good ways to a spot.  Some days I just didn't have it in me.  One day Ashley, the little girls, and I went alone.  They built a castle for hours.




Trey took the boys to get ridiculously expensive henna tats.

There was a pool right by our house we referred to as "The Frog Pool".  I'm pretty sure it has another name, but since it has giant frogs it's quite fitting.




You are not supposed to play on the frogs which BoomPa informed us of and ended our fun!



Next activity was trying out a Yolo board.....

I did not partake since it was about to storm.
