Fordy is 7.5

When your first born turns 7.5 years old it can make a momma a tad bit emotional.  No, I didn't cry.  I'm not big into crying, but it made me stop and think how quickly these children grow up.  I'm given a limited amount of time to teach him how to grow up to be a fine young man, and I pray I'm doing an okay job.

Ford is a kind soul.  He deeply and cares for people and loves most everyone.  He's an awesome big brother.  Ford tolerates John Brantley very well.  It's hard when you're three years older, yet your little brother wants to do everything you do.  He is obsessed with Annie and she can do no wrong.

Ford wants to succeed and be the best at anything he does.  This is great and terrible all at the same time.  It's good because he gives 110% in whatever he tries, but if he isn't successful it's bad because he doesn't handle failure well.  We are working on that.

He loves all things sports.  He wants to know all the rules and exactly how to play everything.
