I need a positive tie breaker

Summer is closing in on us ohhh so quickly.  It's like major panic time to get all the stuff I haven't managed to do since mid May done now.  One such activity/field trip was going to see my sweet, almost 92 year old, Granddaddy at the VA in Oxford.  It's not that it's hard to get over there, it's just a lot to take my three kids anywhere with me.  They aren't always known for superior behavior, and Granddaddy likes them like little statues.  So, we went, visited, took a few pictures to document the occasion, and hugged him goodbye.  Lord knows as I walked out of there I prayed that I would never have to live in a facility like that.  He's been there over 3.5 years.  Ohhh how my heart aches for him, therefore I'm a one sided pen pal.  I write him two letters a week and have since he's been there.  He hasn't written back yet!   Ha....
I think he's smitten over the littlest great grand.
He opened Ford's gum.
The little ones fought over snacks.
Ford and his namesake "Jefferson".   Ford gets frustrated when he tries to talk to granddaddy, but he can't hear him.  We have to write most everything out.
I know he misses my mom, his daughter, so much.
After the VA we did some shopping around the square.  They love Square Books Jr.   I decided Sister needed to ask Santa for a kitchen.   Then the boys decided they needed one too.
Arguing over who was in charge.
Bitty wanted the ice cream set on his Christmas list.  So the list begins...
I just can't stress to y'all enough how much JB loves Annie.  He calls her "his baby".  He is beyond thrilled after she wakes up from her naps so they can play.
Laundry is a group effort around here...
The sister in law and I decided to have one last cousin fling before school.  We met them in the middle at CHUCK E CHEESE.  No no no, this picture isn't from Mr. Cheese's, rather it's Target.  We were so excited about the adventure that we got there an hour before they opened and had to kill some time.  I think the employees and customers of Target were very appreciative when we left.  I also decided to sport my new fanny.  Ashley made great fun of me, but I'll have you know it was perfect.  I was hands free.  I may toss the purse!
95 tickets in hand
These two kept taking pictures!
Annie hates the photo booth.  It's as simple as that!
Ford gets invited to play with friends a lot, and John Brantley doesn't.  Not until recently has this even fazed my little man, but recently he asks why people don't invite him over to play.  Yesterday his feelings were really hurt that Ford had a fun play date and he didn't.  Candy always makes things better, so I told him we'd go run errands, one of which was to the bank.  The bank gives suckers.  Well, yesterday they didn't and that wasn't okay with The Bit.  He was ticked.  I decided a quick gas station run would solve that problem.  We went inside and he picked some Skittles.  I immediately saw these cookies and it brought back a lot of memories of my Nanny.  Nanny was my dad's mom and she died 6 years ago on Trey's birthday.  I bought those cookies, shared with Annie and Bitty, and started telling him about his Nanny.

After a minute I realized the significance of Friday.  Friday is currently, in my book, in a tie for a good and sad day.  Good points of Friday- Trey will be 36 and the boys start school.  Bad points of Friday- It'll be 6 years since my Nanny died and 7 months since my mom died.

So I need a positive tie breaker.  I need something good to look forward to this Friday so I don't think about two ladies whom I loved so much being gone.  I know they are both in Heaven.  I know they'd never choose to come back to Earth after being in absolute perfection.  Between now and Friday I'm looking for a positive tie breaker.....
