In the last little bit Trey and I were having a disagreement about who even knows what, well he called me out on something and I made the comment that it was one of my flaws. He kind of went "ha" like he already knew that. I asked him what he thought one of his flaws was. He said, "I think I'm always right." Well, I am pretty sure the angels sang and rejoiced on that confession, because Lord knows if you know Trey you know that's right. I do have a point to this story...
I also tend to think I'm right. Like last week I told Ford to go down the driveway and get the garbage can. He took off on his 4-wheeler and I quickly started yelling to put that thing up because he wouldn't be able to steer and pull the can on the way back. Well, Jill was wrong!!!
I'm pretty sure he was saying, "I told you I could do it!!!"
I've mentioned before that I don't do Ipads, Ipods, video games, cell phones etc. for the children. I want them to play and be imaginative. Pictures like this make me so happy!
And he made a booby trap for the bad guys.
The moment when you walk into the playroom after you've completely cleaned the upstairs and your children have made a secret hideout and no one would ever know it was spotless 20 minutes before... (Yes, that was a nasty run-on sentence.)
I'm the sentimental type. I like meaningful stuff. I've always been that way, but it worsens with age. Tonight I got my third and final hand print and footprint platter for the kiddos. On the fourth, Trey cooked, I went to the pool with the kids, we had people over, and the boys played in the rain.
We love Anna Greer!
