I'm old school, ya'll.... he will learn to swim

The little guys got their progress reports a few weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to posting their good works for the year.  The Bit moved mountains, y'all.  Literally.  If you click here you can see their first 9 weeks progress report.  Bitty knew no letters (he was only tested through G, he knew 3 numbers, and couldn't write his name.)  He's learned lots and for that I am so proud.  He's being red-shirted so I am expecting even bigger leaps and bounds this next school year!

We still never mastered the proper voice control.  The kid is loud and yells ALL the time.

Ford did great all year.  He received 3's every time.  You see several (/) which means they weren't tested on that skill yet.
I'm old school y'all.  We have no video games.  We have no ipads or ipods.  My kids don't have telephones or TVs in their rooms.  They'll never have TVs in their rooms because we purposefully didn't even put a jack in there.  I played outside when I was little and my kids will too.
They're so ready for the day when Sister can sleep with them.  I'm not so sure she's as stoked about this slumber party as they are!
You got work to do?  Bitty will help.  He's going to help whether you like it or not.  Daddy was filling holes in the yard with sand and John Brantley was right there "helping".
Memorial Day at the country club pool.  Annie and Emery are about 3 weeks apart in age.
When I cook, she destroys.
See.... he's helping again.
Aunt Ashley gave us lots of puzzles which was pleasing to John Brantley.
I'm pretty sure she's the boss and Pops knows it!
When you don't have a swim suit you go "a-lay-natural".
Teething...it's from the Devil.  Period!
Ohhhh how I love being their momma.
This rare, rare, rare.  I have never seen her kissing Bitty, but she did today.  She is usually hitting him or shaking her finger "no" at him.
He loves this child more than I can tell you.
I am a FIRM believer in swimming lessons.  Probably because I failed them twice as a child and eventually, somehow, learned to swim.  Ford is an excellent swimmer and is in his fifth year of lessons.  Bitty isn't into this swimming lessons idea AT ALL.  Yesterday was B-A-D!  Today he hid in the back of my car.  It was like wrestling a wild animal trying to retrieve him from the back.
We will learn to swim!!
