Tricking and Treating

Halloween: a time of year you're extremely excited to dress your child up in a goofy outfit only to parade him/her around town so others can join in with you on the pure bliss of the ridiculousness of how they look.  Now that I'm over this can we please put up the Christmas tree?!?!?

Like any good mom I asked my children, the ones who can talk, what they'd like to be for Halloween.  Ford decided he'd throw on some things from around the house and The Bit thought a scary bear was the way to go.  After a few trips to the costume aisle at Wal-Mart, Batman and a mean dinosaur were the route we went.  As for sister, if you can't voice your opinion then momma chooses and you must deal with it!!!!!

Wednesday night before Trick or Trunk.  Presenting.... Batman, a mean dinosaur, and my Cabbage Patch Doll.
Annie despises head gear.  I'm sure this hat/wig has now bipassed all hair bows in the hatred department.  Heck... She probably loves a bows compared to this contraption.  She's desperately trying to rip it off right here!
Trey LOVED this outfit "at first".  He thought it was very fitting for John Brantley's personality.  However, the dinosaur is not car seat friendly and must be removed before riding and put back on upon arrival at your new destination.  Trey was deemed as the official dresser and undresser of The Bit.  He now hates the dinosaur.
Trick or treating can wear even a superhero out.
There are no words.  He's all Anthony.
The crew needed to stop by Puddin and Pops's house.  Your grandparents will let you dig through and raid their candy stash!!!
Bobba got in on the action too!
And here we are... All pumped about the sugar high and cavities to come!   Party on....
In other news, there has been a massive search for some girlie shoes (apparently hand-me-downs from the Bubbas aren't acceptable) for my wide footed daughter.  Puddin wins the prize.... She scored.  Check out these beauts!
In true Annie fashion, she must taste them. They passed the taste test!!!
At the doctor again.  Red throat = mystery virus!
My cousin, Maria, came to stay Friday night and brought treats...
Silly BoomPa and his funny hats....
Christmas tree will be up before the turkey is cooked!!!!
