Bitty is 7 months old

Well my baby is officially 7 months old.  In the last month he has gotten 2 teeth on the bottom, learned to sit up, and can crawl.  Now the crawling isn't beautiful by any means and sometimes he ends up going backwards before he goes forwards, but he gets there!
He is happy unless he’s tired or hungry.  He reaches for me to pick him up and it just melts my heart.  If I am running around the house doing household chores and he wants me to hold him he will squeal for me.  If I don’t pick him up he sticks that little bottom lip out so far and cries… it’s just pitiful.
He slept through the night Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.  Maybe we are moving towards every night!!!!
He LOVES Delta.  He lights up when she comes near him.  I was sitting on the floor with him earlier and Delta came to lie down beside me.  John Brantley grabbed a chunk of her hair, licked her foot, and I’m pretty sure he bit her nose.  I guess he is just making that immune system a little stronger!!

Sometimes things don’t taste the way we want them to……..
Meal times are always exciting.  We don’t have a high chair so John Brantley sits in his Bumbo on top of the table.  He has fallen out 3 or 4 times already because he reaches for food containers or spoons to bite on.  After he eats it’s straight to the sink for a bath.

It really makes me sad how quickly he is growing up and changing.  I feel like I rushed Ford to learn to do things so fast.  I want to take it slower with John Brantley and soak it all up!

Ford is obsessed with his 4-wheeler.  He was beyond THRILLED when it rained and I let him ride it in the mud puddles.

Lately Ford has been asking for a sister.  He doesn't want just any sister, he wants a big sister…one about 8 years old.  I tried to explain that if we ever did have a sister she’d be little like John Brantley.  He didn't like that AT ALL.  He tells me daily that he wants one!
He has also has been concerned about how Santa got into our house since we don’t have a chimney.  And he wants to know how Santa got his big 4-wheeler in his sleigh.  I don’t recall ever asking my parents questions like this.  Ford is too smart for his own britches and sometimes I have to come up with clever ideas to answer his questions just right.

 SKINNY little dude…

This weather is just weird.  It’s January, yet we are wearing short sleeves.  One can only keep a 3 year old contained so long.  Then he really needs to jump in some mud puddles.

Fancy got his deer head mounted and Ford wanted to show it off.
I took Ford to a birthday party this weekend.  He had a LARGE time on the bouncy slide!!!
 Happy 7 months Bitty!
