Whatever works

Thursday Ford’s class had another Easter egg hunt and party.  I wasn’t able to attend this one so I sent Justice Puddin to fill in.  Ford looked like such a big boy in his jeans, boots, and Polo shirt.  He is pretty big though.  He will be 3 next month.  

 

This sweet little girl loves to give Ford kisses every day at school.  

 

I warned Puddin before she went that Ford would want to go home with her.  She agreed to take the little man with her.  They stopped by the library on the way home.  Ford was all cozy in his lounge chair catching up on the latest kids’ books. 

 

He even spent some time working on his computer skills.    

 

There he is next to a picture of his Daddy at the library proudly holding his very own library card!   

 

Then back at Puddin’s house they got to baking.  Ford is ohhh so helpful with any and all household projects, especially cooking.       

 

They made some birds’ nests.        

 

After I finished school on Thursday I went to pick him up.  We went by the office and noticed that next door they had “big-bad mud holes” (as Ford calls them).  He begged and pleaded to play in them.  We went home and changed into our boots, got the wagon, and came back to play in the mud holes!  My mom, Gran, said “Either you are a fun momma, or you have lost your mind.”  I think I might be a nice combination of both.  At this point I go with whatever works to keep him entertained!
