A Big Day

I enjoy a fun weekend activity and I like to keep Ford entertained as well.  On Sunday our neighbors said they were going to their farm to ride horses.  Ford was definitely up for a trip to someone’s farm.  He enjoyed riding their horse named Sam.

I told Trey that he needed to be right next to Ford in case he decided to topple over.  He wasn’t close enough for me in this picture.

And not only did they have horses, but they also had a tractor.  Nothing beats a tractor in Ford’s book!

We have been adding a patio area onto our house which is about 90% of the way completed.  After the workers finished on Friday afternoon they pressure washed down the newly constructed area.  This resulted in water getting into the grass, which resulted in the dirt getting wet, which caused mud, which means Ford Lamar got filthy dirty!

Friday night we went down to Como to eat at the Como Steak House Oyster Bar.  It was so nice out that we sat outside on the balcony.  Ford yelled to all the people down below.
Last week Trey went and got Ford out of school so he could watch them tearing down an old house in town.  He loved it!

Then they stopped by our house because the men had laid the concrete.  Ford got to put his hands in it.  He told his Daddy it was a “big day”.

Well, I should win some sort of award for completing three blog posts within two days.  If you haven’t read lately you have a lot of catching up to do!
