She absolutely is...

Some people find a good thing and want to keep the little secret all to themselves and not share.  That's not me.  When I find something useful, I am quick to spread the word.  Now I am a candidate for the president of a sophisticated club... The Bad Hair Club For Women.  Don't try to beat me, I got this down.  I was blessed with very dry, dry, dry, frizzy hair.  I have spent years trying products and fighting the funk.  I mean, I honestly I am just going to have to deal with it.  I live in the south for crying out loud.  The humidity here is out of control.  With that being said, I love the beauty section in all stores.  It's like my drug.  I could break the bank.  Just ask anyone who knows me very well, my supply of beauty products is insane.  I don't have anything fancy... mostly Wal-Mart.  It's my drug.  I love a product.  One day I was in Walgreens and found some new spray on oil.  I have been spraying it on my wet hair before I blow dry it.  Well, the other day I decided I just didn't have it in me to wash my hair (Gasp... I know), so I got my oil, hairbrush, and straightening iron.  No frizz!!!!  It actually works better on my hair after it's dried.  Now if you have dry and frizzy hair I strongly recommend this.  You can thank me later!!!!

Hard work.  Practice.  Dedication.  That's my Ford who thinks he will play college ball one day.
Nothing makes The Bit happier than playing outside.  It can be in the 40's and he's begging to go out, insisting he will be fine in the cold.

Lucky for us, we have a make-shift sand pile that was left when construction was complete on our house.  Bitty LOVES it!!!!
Sister and I watch the boys shoot hoops and play in the sand, and we have girl talk.
Then it's time for a bath...
When Ford was a baby I was a rule follower.  I read every baby book and did exactly what they told me to do.  That could be the cause of his extreme OCD behavior.  With Annie the tables have turned.  Sometimes she doesn't get a bath for 3 days, she basically lives in her car seat, and at almost 10 weeks she has probably only done 15 minutes of tummy time in her life.  Whereas Ford had a strict 15 minutes each day.  I pushed that kid too hard!
I tell her everyday, "You're a pretty girl!!"  And she absolutely is.
My little #4- The Bandits
We have about 4 more games of the season.  He's doing so well.  It's amazing how much he improves every year.
Bitty likes to mow instead of watching Ford's games.
Our weekend consisted of laying sod.  This is a man's job.  I laid one pallet and had to cut off my fingernails to get the mud/dirt out.  Naturally, Trey rearranged all my work.  I quit with yard work.  That's his area.  I can clean a toilet instead.
Supper outside

Ice cream on the table
I think it's funny how "I think" "I know" what's best for me.  I thought two boys was all I needed.... no more kids.  I had no plans for anymore babies, ohhhh but the Lord knew better.  I can't imagine not having my little girl.  She's the missing piece to our family.  She dictates my schedule, makes me be more flexible, and lightens all of us up.  I think it's safe to say we are all smitten by Annie Wannie (my nickname for her).  Thank you God for not letting me decide what's best for me, or I would have missed out on a huge blessing.

New blog below...

Ford's day

I remember the day very well, April 30, 2009.  It was a Thursday.  I woke up, went to school, my blood pressure went to the MAX (I'm guessing) when I had to deal with an unruly child, left school, bought wrapping paper for my niece's birthday gift, went out to eat with several folks, showered and went to bed.  Thirty minutes later I was up and Jefferson Hannaford "Ford" Lamar was ready to come.  Yeah, I thought labor was a quick process... funny!!!  It was about 17 hours later that I became a MOM!!!!   My life goals as a little girl were three things: 1.  Get married  2.  Become a teacher  3.  Be a mom.  Some people might think I didn't set my sights too high, but I have accomplished all that I truly wanted.  Now I get to sit back and enjoy my husband, memories of being a teacher (at the time since I'm not in the classroom), and my three miracles.

Ford definitely is a unique child.  I had to think a minute as to how to describe him, and I think unique fits him pretty well.  He's very intellectual, and I attribute that to his father.  I tell him all the time how smart his daddy is.  He is tender hearted and caring.  I've never met a little person who cares so much for others and their feelings.  Ford loves to learn and becomes fixated on things.  When he was two it was tractors, at four it was space, and now we love sports, especially basketball.  When he is infatuated with things he gives it his all.  The child honestly thinks he can jump 48 inches and will play college ball one day!  Bless him.

Trey might argue with me, but I would say he is a momma's boy.  He still lets me hold, hug, and kiss him.  We snuggle at night, hold hands, and talk about the upcoming day.  He is interested in everyone's conversations and likes to add his two cents in there.

This is my baby boy on April 30, 2015... The night before his SIXTH birthday!!!
Height: 45 inches - 3 feet 9 inches - 44th percentile
Weight: 37-40 pounds (fluctuates)- 11th percentile
Shoe size: 11
Pants size: 4-5
Shirt size- 6
I kind of think birthdays are a big deal!!!!  I mean we celebrate HALF BIRTHDAYS at our house.  It's their day to feel special and it be all about them.  (Even though I have to tell Ford about once or twice a day that "It's Not All About You!!!)  This big guy woke up at 5:51.  I was in the kitchen and I could hear little feet running down the hall.  It's hard to sleep when it's Your Day!!!  We started off with two Paw Patrol Toys and a basketball goal outside!!!
At 9:45 Trey and I surprised Ford with snacks for his classroom.  It was my idea, but I decided we would invite Daddy too!!!!  Doritos, iced cookies, and juice boxes were the items on the menu, and they all seemed to enjoy it.
Mrs. Beverly giving Ford his crown.
Birthday spankings
One day I won't be cool to hang out with anymore.  His friends will be who he flocks to.  He won't let me hold, hug, and kiss him like he does now.  I don't like to think about that.  Until then we will hang out and he'll be my baby and we will act silly....
Happy Birthday to my first born and favorite six year old!!!!!  You bring an unimaginable amount of joy to our lives and we will forever love you!!!!

Planting Delta in the yard

Since we've moved, we have a lot more open space to run and play.  Many afternoons we hop on the golf cart for a ride during that difficult witching hour time period.   It's a good activity that we all can participate in.  Annie is very limited on what she can do!!!  Last week on our ride we stopped across the street at our neighbors', who are also family, house.
They have all things "farm".  Things like cows (which Bitty may call a donkey), tractors, hay bales, trucks, gators, buckets of feed, etc.  The kids and I hopped in the truck with Pam and T.A. and off we went to give the cows some treats.
Annie got a little ticked sitting in the back so she got to ride through the pasture in the front.  I think she loves when Pam holds her and Ford sings.  And ohhhh does that child sing to her.  He breaks out in song numerous times a day. It can be anything from the ABC's (which he's very adamant that she learn at 9 weeks....Ha!), Jesus Loves Me, or he even makes up his own ditties. No one get too excited, you won't be seeing him on American Idol or The Voice anytime soon.
This would be Chief. Check out those ears would you!!!!  Ohhh and his camelish hump.

Feeding these "donkeys" a snack sure is a special treat for them. They have a hard time practicing patience... Just stick their heads right on in the truck!!!!
Ummmmm Kay...obsessed, infatuated, whatever you want to call it. It is what Ford is about basketball. For the love of Pete, I hope his momma and daddy get him a basketball goal for his 6th birthday on May 1. We have to go to the church gym or to his great grandmother's house, "Bobba" to shoot hoops.
Ford such a little guy, 40 pounds on a good day, he's actually pretty good. He would literally shoot hoops all day long.
The Bit isn't into ball so much. He's finally learned to pedal his bike. He was cruising the driveway while Ford broke a sweat.
And Saturday we had a field trip. We headed to Oxford for the Double Decker Arts Festival. This, in my squirrelly little head, seemed like a good idea.  But ohhhh it wasn't. It was hot, John Brantley fell down every 100 feet, John Brantley didn't want to walk, Ford was talking, both boys wanted to play in the bouncy houses, Annie hated her car seat/stroller, she was hungry, I was sweating, etc. Next year, Trey and I will go alone and take chairs so we can enjoy the music.

While we were fighting the crowds Ford did spot two Ole Miss basketball players. Saiz and Perez are short aren't they!!!???  If we had seen Moody the day would have been complete.
All that falling down wore Bitty out!!!!!
Daddy's first time to give Annie a bottle at almost 9 weeks old.
The other day I told Trey that I missed Delta, our dog that was recently run over.  I stated that it had been 4 weeks since she died. Bitty, who doesn't miss a thing, chimes in and says, "How long ago did you plant Delta in the yard?"
Someone got her Daddy's eyelashes.
Sister started sleeping through the night again two days ago, on Sunday.
What little boy doesn't love a sand pile????
Helpers....
So since I learned I can blog on my phone it has made my life much simpler. Annie and I are at the Chevrolet place getting a keyless remote programmed.  Sounds easy enough, but they said it would take an hour. She didn't enjoy the news and started yelling and rubbing her face in my shirt. I've switched to ALL detergent, but she's still breaking out.  Uggghhhh
I'm finally caught up on my blogging!!!

Her Last Meet the Teacher

Girl likes her a tea! I decided Annie was old enough to start getting her eyebrows waxed.   I didn't really explain the whole process to...
