Retiring Eli's number....

The Bit doesn't like pictures, therefore, he's not featured in many blog posts.  However, he's making a good appearance this time.

As you know, he's one of my 40 students.  Each 9 weeks I give my students an A.R. (accelerated reader) goal.  Bitty met his goal and he got a certificate.
Being that I teach at a Christian private school, we can talk about God, have devotional time, and learn scripture.   I challenge each student to memorize 6 out of 9 Bible verses each 9 weeks and they can get a drop a grade.  Bitty learned all 9!  I liked that a few went beyond the 6 and got all 9.

Ford went to his second cross country meet and cut 2 minutes off of his time and came in second for our school.

Ox, our Beta fish, died.  The kids got the fish from their cousins three years ago when Trey and I went to a football game.  I was kind of shocked that the fish died.  He had been kicking it for years.

Each Friday we have a spirit day for football.  Wigging out or hat day was the theme a few weeks ago.  Annie sported a wig!

Sometimes you want to be a witch for Halloween, but when you search for witch costumes and this number comes up....you change your mind.  Pleased with this outfit would be an understatement.

Soccer is over.....  Bitty was a hustler.

Baseball is over.  Bitty got to do a little pithing along with playing second base and short stop.

Ford was invited by Leland to go see Dude Perfect live in Memphis.

Bitty, ohhh the middle child.  Last weekend he got some one on one time with his Daddy.  They sat in a deer stand and did man things.  They also sent me these pictures.

I want to remember things my kids do and say.  EVERY SINGLE DAY Bitty says these lines....

Hold me!!!!
How old are you????
How much do you weigh?
You're my favorite!
I love you so much it hurts.
Please....from a child to a mother   (like a saying on Home Alone)

Trey left his car at work one night so he got to ride in my bus to school the next morning.

Daddy got some new straps for our swing.  Annie was pumped!

Soccer is over.....

Traditional pick out some pumpkins from Homestead Farms.

Friday night the boys went to the football game and Annie and I stayed home and worked on extra credit projects.

Trey asked me if I wanted to go to the Ole Miss vs. LSU football game.  I told him no because I'm too tired.  He proceeded to say they'd be retiring Eli's jersey and then Annie asked me what the grove was.  I grew up going to the grove so I knew I had to take her.  So we went.

We found Greer!

And I saw my cousin, Laura, who lives in Italy.

The boys got to go down on the field.

And we saw Archie....

And Eli!

Church this morning....

About a month ago, Bitty got a nasty bout with the stomach bug that lingered on for 7 days.  During that time, I made him sleep upstairs so he wouldn't infect Annie with his germs.  Well, sadly to say, he's stayed up there since then.  All of my babies now sleep in their own beds.  It makes me sad.  I never knew that night I fluffed his covers (which I must do every night) that it would be his last night with Annie.
