Normally, Usually, In years past, we have done Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve. However, this year we bumped it up a day, to the 23rd, since Christmas Eve was on Sunday. In true Joe Anthony fashion, he greeted everyone at the door dressed as Santa. Annie loved it. I don't think the other 5 gave him as much attention in his festive attire!
Waiting to open presents for an hour was a killer for the tots!
Oh but when we started!
Mrs. Patty worked really hard to decorate the house and make it special for everyone.
And since the second Chinaman statue was lost after vacation 2015, I found a close replacement. So the games continue!!!!!
A small plant is better than no tree at all.
Sunday we went to church, cleaned house, went to church, and then had snacks before heading to bed. Also, no Christmas Eve is complete without opening one gift of matching pajamas to make this momma happy!
And sprinkling reindeer food in the yard....
