This little girl that I get to call mine is TWO. It’s really hard to believe that time has
flown by so quickly, it all seems like a blur.
You hold that precious newborn and literally a blink later,
years have passed. It’s no surprise
that our Annie girl was an unplanned surprise.
My dad, BoomPa, says just about weekly, “You should be ashamed about all
that crying you did after you found out you were pregnant with Annie. We needed her.” It’s funny thinking about all the crying I
did. And boy did I do some crying. She wasn’t planned, by me, but she was by God
because his plans are soooo much better than ours. The timing wasn’t right for me… we were
building and Trey was in session. But
God allowed us to find out we were pregnant early in the building stages and we
made a few adjustments and unlike her brothers, my water didn’t break and she
stayed put so her daddy could see her grand debut. Now I can’t imagine not having my little
sidekick. She has brought so many smiles
when my heart was absolutely breaking over my mother being sick and dying. God knew.
He had a plan. She came to help
heal our broken hearts.
