Home Christmas tour

I love love love Christmas time.  I love the true meaning of Christmas, Christ's birth, but there are so many other things to love too.  I love the decorations, music, trees, ornaments, baking, wrapping, gifts, not so sure I love the elf, Christmas cartoons, the excitement from my children, and that's just to name a few.

I wanted to remember, for next year, how I decorated some of our house, so I took  some pictures.
Our real tree that is ornament-less in the study.
I LOVE Christmas cards!!!!!!!!!!!  They are covering my kitchen and the beams surround the doorway of my kitchen.
Butler's pantry
Gotta use deer horns when you can!
Dining room
This might be my favorite.  So this round table belonged to my Grandmother and I inherited a lot of her things when she went to an assisted living facility.  I put old Christmas cards and Santa pictures under the glass.
When Trey and I first married we lived on one income in Jackson while he finished law school.  We'd come up to Senatobia/Olive Branch for the 2 weeks we had out at Christmas.  I believe it was Christmas 2005 I went shopping with my mother in Collierville.  We went inside a cute store and she bought that sparkly deer you see on my sofa table.  She didn't buy it for me, she bought it for herself.  I never told her, but I thought it was precious and I wanted it soooo bad, but I knew we didn't have the extra money for me to buy it.  I have a feeling she'd want me to have it now, so I decided it could come home with me!

The living room...
The Magnolia leaves I cut out of my yard died a month ago!
Trey's den
A lot of these Santa's belonged to mom too.
Even though this tree has ticked me off numerous times because the lights go out, I love it!
Hope you enjoyed your Christmas tour.

P.S.  Annie is 22 months today, but I don't have her a blog ready...I haven't even started it!!!
