Having two boys born
at the same time of the year has been great.
John Brantley will one day write a book titled: My Life In
Hand-Me-Down Clothes. Literally, 90%
of what he wears was worn by Ford. But
hey, it’s okay. They only wear it for
one season and then outgrow it. I wear
hand-me-downs from myself year after year.
I have stuff in my closet from high school. No lie.
So I am all about some used
clothing. And I also don’t believe in
discriminating, so Sister gets to wear some of their old clothing too.
Exhibit A: The “Boo” Halloween shirt is on kid #3 now!!!!!
Ummmm so the other day (Fall Break to be exact) Ford was
talking nonstop and about to send me over the edge. I was trying to answer all 7,500 of his
questions, but finally I needed a break.
We had been discussing Halloween costumes so I got him settled at the
computer on Amazon. He had 400 pages of
costumes to sort through. Now he was
excited about this activity, but ticked at the same time. He wanted to be a skeleton and I told him no
way. So he settled for a ninja and Bitty
is going to be a construction worker….Don't judge me that my almost 20 month old has a bottle!
Sometimes she will sit and watch Curious George with him...
Exhibit B of the hand-me-downs....these are Bitty's pajamas from last year and his boots.
It's hard to see, but the boys are watching Trey work on the tractor.
And they all are watching him spread some rocks.
TRADITIONS: Picking a pumpkin...
Ohhh how dear my Daddy make me sit up high on a wet pumpkin!
She can make the worst faces.
Sister wanted to pull the cart.
Y'all, I could eat this child UP!
Discussing the goldfish pond...
Ford had to paint a pumpkin for a school project that looked like a character. Bitty wanted a piece of the action so he painted this one and named it: Annie the Cow
Speaking of Bitty... Yesterday when I picked him up from school he said: "Momma, I feel like a rhinoceros. I'm pretty sure I'm the strongest in the class!!!!!"
