Delta Delta Delta

I've wanted to be a Tri Delta for as long as I can remember.   I wanted to be a DDD when I didn't even know what that or a sorority was.  My mom was a Tri Delt and I pretty much followed her around like a shadow all of my childhood.  It didn't hurt that my great grandmother was a DDD and one of whom helped to financially build the house.

When one of my best friends asked if I'd come help with bid day this year I was on board.

   Themes are important...
Jessica, whom I refer to as "Bogan", me, Elizabeth, and Rosy
Bogan, Taylor (head of Bid day), and myself.  Us three lived together the summer of 2003...It was eventful people!!!  Eventful!
Here we are again, desperately wishing it was us again at Bid Day some 15 years ago!
Since the theme was about candy they didn't disappoint inside.  There were 3 huge rectangular cakes, 3 big round cakes, dip, cookies, and candy galore.  I took this picture long before the table was complete!
And the gift.... ohhhh the gifts.  It's like Christmas morning.
We had cotton candy duty outside.  I'm confident I won't be asked to man that station again.
Elizabeth either
A sea of thousands of people.
And little Sally Frances was born just last month, but she's excited her momma let her come to Bid Day!
For 2.5 seconds I got baby fever and then reality set in that I really don't, and I'd be just fine holding Sally Frances instead!
