The zoo and 22

 This girl right here LOVES a field trip.  Many times, I plan some kind of outing and call it a “field trip”, but we went on a legit real deal “school field trip” on Tuesday.  Destination:  The Memphis Zoo.

We got there a few minutes early and played in the car a bit.  Outside of the zoo there are about 10 huge animals with signs that read: “DO NOT CLIMB ON THE ANIMALS”.  Ford is a BIG rule follower and when he saw people climbing up there it almost sent him into orbit.  I calmed him down and put him up on one before we went inside!!!

 This little guy will be 22 months old on April 13.

He is weighing in at 22.4 pounds, or so my scale said this morning.  He is obsessed with 4-wheelers and any kind of construction type machine.  He loves animals and will make the sound of a dog, cow, dinosaur, and duck.  He usually naps between 1 and 1.5 hours.

He isn't a big milk drinker like Ford.  He loves juice, candy, anything sweet, and anything junk food.  He thinks Trey's truck is fabulous and points and says, "tuck tuck tuck".  He doesn't have a large vocabulary, but says just a few words.  He communicates in other ways.  He's big into throwing fits and biting still.  

He's ALL boy.  He has perfected the boy grunts and truck noises.  He loves for ME to rock him to sleep before naps and bedtime.  He comes up to me numerous times a day looking for hugs and kisses.  This little guy gives some sweet kisses too!!!  Happy 22 months, John Brantley!!!!
