I looked like a present, or so he said

Last weekend Trey and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary.  We also took a trip to Nashville for a wedding.
En route to Nashville.  Trey forget his sunglasses so I let him borrow a spare pair…
Our good friends, Sidney and Callie, let us stay at their new house in Brentwood. Before we left for the wedding I asked Sidney to take our picture. Trey kind of gasped when he saw what I was wearing. He said “You look like a present! Where in the world did you get that dress? I never thought you would wear something like that!” I personally liked my new dress. I guess he and I don’t have the same taste!

Uncle Vance came to play

Ford has a fascination with the dryer.  He decided he needed to play in there today.

Ford will be going to preschool some this fall.  We got his school supply list (which looks very costly) and I decided to start purchasing some of the items listed.  A nap mat was on the list and I found one at a store here in Mayberry.  Ford went with the farm theme… imagine that!!!  I have started praying for his teachers already because there is NOWAY that child will sleep on the floor in that thing.  More power to them for trying!!!!!!

When Ford gets bored he tends to get in trouble.  I feel like I am constantly getting on to him this summer or threatening him with “time out” or a spanking.  I try to think of fun activities he and I can do to keep him from destroying something or getting punished for unruly behavior.   Today we painted.  We have painted before but I gave him a big piece of paper today.  This is actually wrapping paper.  He loved it.

I got my 2010 blog published.  I ordered it and it came in exactly a week.  I am so proud of it.  Not because of my blogging skills (they are lacking) but because I have all of these memories.  I sure wish I had something like that from my childhood.  Anyone with children who doesn’t have a blog needs to start one now!!!  I got it printed from www.blog2print.com .
