The Private World of a Woman

I was tagged by “The Wilson Family” to share what is in my bag with you. I thought it was a neat idea and was excited to see my name listed as one of the chosen ones to let you into one of the most private worlds of a woman… “her purse.”  This is the same bag as people call them now a days, I still prefer a purse, which I have carried since August of 2008. It’s a good old Mat and Nat purse.

First off we have 3 bottles of hand sanitizer which I rarely use because I am not even a fan of the stuff. I like some good old soap and water. Also pictured is some sanitizer lotion, 3 bottles of regular lotion, and some Nivea sunless tanner. I do not rub the tanning lotion on me daily, but planned to put some on this weekend before the family reunion and I forgot so it will probably ride around in my purse for a while as well.

On to the next load… we have some nail clippers of Ford’s. Remember I do not cut his nails because we get our regular manicure and pedicure from Mrs. Amy at Daddy’s office on Tuesdays. So they must stay in the purse as well. I also have some floss from the dentist, cuticle cutters (I needed them today), a sample thing of Deo I got in the mail (you never know if you might forget to put some on!) contact solution and a case (Puddin benefits from this more than I do), some hairspray that is missing the top, 3 chap sticks, 2 rubber bands, 4 band aids, and some lip gloss which I do not use because I prefer my chap stick.

We have here 4 pens and 1 pencil, a calendar which I never remember to write in, a keychain with no keys on it, and a whistle. The whistle is quite handy when it comes to entertainment for Ford. He has actually learned how to blow it. No, I don’t use the whistle to warn off bad guys or strangers, I used it when I had recess duty this spring, which was everyday might I add!!

Now we have 2 things of gum (1 was almost empty so I grabbed another pack), 1 eraser (kids at school never had their supplies), some tape since I have already decorated my room for the fall, some sunglasses, a Humana glasses cleaner that the insurance man gave me when he tried to sell me about twelve different policies and a battery charger for my old camera that is broken.

We have my gigantic camera case for the dinosaur camera I am using while my old one is broken, my dirty green wallet, my make-up bag, and my swanky phone. I know all ya’ll IPhone and Blackberry people must be jealous of my cool Nokia!!!

And I almost forgot that Dum-Dum sucker that is always a good bribe for Ford.
