Last trip to Cedar

Traditions are the best.  Every year we make a pumpkin cake and every year it looks horrific!!!!

Ford woke up with some kind of funky eye one day.  I think it was a swollen oil gland.

Last week marked the final Cedar Hill Farm field trip.  2011-2020, 3 kids, and 12 field trips later they are over.  I am sad.

When Baseball Gets Canceled You....

When baseball gets canceled you crash on your neighbors' fall break plans to Nashville.  We rarely get to go anywhere on spring break or fall break due to the Legislative Session and baseball.  BUT baseball got canceled because of a hurricane and off we went.

Well, we planned a trip to the Opryland Hotel in Nashville and didn't tell the children until an hour before we left.  Apparently, Bitty doesn't like surprises a lot....He cried!

The best part was that our kids had no idea the neighbors would be there!!!!!












There were these QR COde type things on the ground that you could scan and animals would pop up.  We walked all over the hotel looking for them.

The hotel is huge with a whopping 2,888 rooms!  We had fun and never got in our car until it was time to go home!
