Utterly Flipping Out Around Here

What is this world coming to?  Literally.  We have the equivalent of Flu C spreading around the globe and people have lost their minds!  Flu A and B have killed thousands of people already as the flu has in years past.  We have a new virus spike and ohhhh mylanta, the world has flipped their lid.  Not being a moron, I too went to the store and bought food and toilet paper.  I did not spend $1,500 like someone I know did.  Heck no.  The world isn't coming to a complete halt, folks.  I plan to wash my hands, like I have all my life, to an annoying degree and keep on living.  Some people need to do a better job of washing their hands.  Your steering wheel is probably nastier than an Exxon toilet.  Just saying.

Trey has been in session in Jackson for 2.5 months now.  Yes, he comes home, but when he does we are running.  He's at his office, we are at baseball, church, an event, or something.  We don't see each other or get to spend time together.  He has been hinting, a lot, for me to surprise him in Jackson.  Well, Wednesday I did just that.  I had the help of some of his buddies, but I walked right onto the house floor and pulled off my surprise!

That night we went to eat at Walkers and stayed at The Westin.

I decided that if we are going to be quarantined in our homes, I needed to stock up on my trusty chapstick!

Mealtimes are never boring

We don't take a lot of baths (showers mostly) because bending over the tub hurts my back and my bathroom floor ends up soaking wet.  I let her talk me into a bath the other night and she was pleased with this idea.

Corona Virus got me like....

The boys both love baseball.  Neither of them plays catcher in games, but like to try it out in the yard.  Bit missed the ball.

Annie went to her buddy, Griffin's, party yesterday.  She loves an activity.

He is into showing off his muscles lately.

We had a cow slaughtered and from that cow received 700 pounds of beef.  Trey needed another stand up freezer for all the meat.  (Side note: We have 3 refrigerator freezers and 2 stand up freezers).  He was going to throw the box away and the boys went nuts.  They needed that box!!!!  They made a fort which has occupied about 24 hours of their times.

They claimed they'd sleep in it last night.  We all know that didn't happen.

Guard dog, Annie

Anna Greer and Mary Addison invited Annie over for an afternoon of watching Frozen 2.

SB2020 is a lot of fussing and fighting

Baseball season is now in FULL swing.  Ford stayed with the same organization, but joined a new team this year.  I was slightly nervous since we only knew one family from the group.  He loves his new team and the families are nice!

He's played second base, pitcher, and third.

BoomPa and Patty came to Oxford during the games last weekend.  Patty took Annie and two of her grandchildren to the square for ice cream.

Dad was concerned that his ears would get sunburned.

It was a late night and sister couldn't hang.

Day 2

Second place in the championship

We had Dr. Seuss day at school on Monday.

Ford got his deer skull mounted.  He is very pleased.

Sister and her love for puzzles....

Meltdown #1 of SB2020 which started an hour after the break began.

Annie loves to play grocery store.  She is the cashier and I am the shopper.  Her prices are very expensive.

We went to Southaven the other day and for Annie's well child check-up.  I decided to take them to eat at "Slim Chicken".  Believe it or not, Bitty ate the best.

Sister had a great check up

Here's a little comparison chart of the kids at age 5....

I LOVE Marshall's and TjMaxx.  We stopped by after the doctor.

Annie got to go to a Build a Bear birthday party on Saturday.

This weekend Ford played in Tupelo.  In the first game he made an awesome catch at third base and threw the runner at first.  He got player of the game and was able to wear this cool necklace.

The boys got haircuts today.  I let her cut Annie's hair too.

She had to straighten

The rain is coming.  We decided to beat childhood obesity and ride bikes before the rain.

SB2020 has been a lot of arguing, fussing, and fighting.  Annie wanted to make cookies.  Bitty wanted to help.   She refused his help.  So, Bitty wanted to make brownies.  Ford wanted to do anything but write his book report for  my class!!!!

Her Last Meet the Teacher

Girl likes her a tea! I decided Annie was old enough to start getting her eyebrows waxed.   I didn't really explain the whole process to...
