I am NOT a fan of change, I never have been. I get all nice and comfy in my little world and prefer for things to stay that way. Then a change hits and I have to figure out a new rythmn. Not. My. Thing.
So I had a 2015 suburban that I got in 2016. It was fine, Nice. Just what we needed. I put many a miles on that thing. I carted kids from state to state in her. Well, the rear heat went out, the windshield was broken, the brakes were grinding, and some fan was making an awful noise. I told Trey we needed to fix the fan and brakes because I didn't feel comfortable driving it out of town. Since it was older with many miles he said, "No". Out with the old....
In with the new. Now I am trying to figure out my new 2021 Yukon XL. I need big. I need room. We go. We travel. I can't have small. Changes are hard. This is the nicest car I've had. I'm still adjusting.
Ford is in full swing of peewee basketball. He hasn't exactly hit his growth spurt though.
Annie eats pork chops like some people eat ribs!!!
Emily. She's in 6th grade. I taught her in 3rd and 4th grades. She stopped by the other morning on her way to class to show me her big earrings!
The Senatobia Christmas parade is always a fun, cold time.
Annie has been on my case about a girl elf. I personally think the elf gives me anxiety. Why do some people have elves and some don't? Why can some people touch elves and some can't? Why do some leave presents and some don't? Why do some come on certain days and others come later? Ohhhh the mess the elves cause. Well, I told her that I didn't think there were enough. Finally, an elf came.
Clara....
She couldn't stay. Annie cried.
Sweet Reagan. She's one of my 40 students who gives me hugs everyday, draws me pictures, and is just so sweet.
The third graders had their play a few weeks ago..."The Great Holiday Bake Off?"
Bitty was a gumdrop. This might come as a shock, but gumdrop outfits aren't a popular thing on Amazon. I couldn't find one. I had to make his. He looked like a LAMP SHADE!
Ohhhh y'all....An Elf came. For good! Meet Izzy....
