Cocoa Beach Part 1

Okay.... frustration has set in.  I just typed up a lovely blog and it's gone.  So here's goes AGAIN!

As many of you know, baseball is what we do.  Back in my day, baseball was a seasonal sport.  Now it has pretty much become something we play most of the year.  Ford's team won a Super NIT and was invited to come to the World Series in Cocoa Beach.  Y'all, that is far from my house.  Like 15 hours far.  Y'all, I don't like riding in the car with my family!!!  I begged Trey to let us split the trip up, and thank goodness he agreed to.
I was sad to leave on July 4th since our neighborhood does such fun stuff.  We have a golf cart parade, fireworks, fun activities at the pool, etc.  But watching fire works at the beach is fun too.

We had some friends who let us stay with them in their house in Destin.  We had supper with them.

Annie slept in a baby bed.

The next day, July 5, we drove the rest of the way to Cocoa Beach.  Ford and his buddies had a large time playing and playing ball.

The sand is very different on the Atlantic Coast than we are used to.

I do love to ride go carts.  We beat the boys for the record!

And we played goofy golf or putt-putt...whatever you call it.
