The Rona

So July 4th didn't start off exactly the way we wanted it to.  We got a call that morning that Trey had tested positive for the Coronavirus.  Lord help us all.  I guess at that exact moment it didn't register with me all that this virus would entail.  It meant that he had to stay upstairs all alone, he couldn't touch anything, he couldn't come downstairs, the kids couldn't see him, I had to wear a mask, etc.

We planned to go to the country club pool that day, but we had to go to Puh and Pops's pool instead.

Ford was very upset to miss the 4th festivities at the pool.

That night a storm start moving across the field behind our house.  It was neat to see it coming.

The children and I still participated in the golf cart parade but didn't get close to anyone.

We sat far away from others but saw the fireworks.

My newest accessory....

TA and Pam brought us two chocolate pies.  I was so excited to get some chocolate...I nearly died out laughing when I opened the pie and a big piece was gone!

Fancy was waited on hand and foot while he was in quarantine.   I made him fun snacks...

One day I spent over 3 hours cleaning out Annie's closet.  She was playing in her bathroom.

I have even learned to make coffee during Trey's downtime.

Six days after Trey got the news, the kids and I went to test.

The test was pretty brutal.  Annie lost her religion.  My children needed a gas station treat after for their bravery.  The kids and I tested negative!!!!
