I can't think of a parent who wouldn't want their children to do outstanding things, try hard, accomplish goals, and be a leader. Ford has always been an exceptional kid. I'm not just saying that because he's mine, but he really has far exceeded my expectations. The last two weeks I have attended awards ceremonies for him.
Ford and his great grandmother, Bobba. Bobba's husband was one of the founders of the school my boys attend.Fastest boy runner in his class, best boy jump roper in his class, AR award, and an AR trophy for reading the most books and getting the most points in his class.
Headmaster's List for All A's, Highest math average in his class, and The Spirit of Magnolia Heights Award. The last award is the one that makes me the proudest. Only one child per class is giving this award and it's determined by your leadership, character, etc. I guess all those mornings of saying, "Do something helpful, thoughtful, and kind" finally paid off!!!!
Medal for reading at least 100 books. He read 187.
Ford's first grade teacher, Mrs. Steward.
School is over and Bitty is headed to 4k after two years of 3k!
Look how much he's grown!!!!!!!
Him too!!!!
When you accomplish greatness you need a reward. Bitty needed the biggest can Wal-Mart had to pull in his dump trailer. Your wish is my command!
When Anna Greer and Jonah come fishing in our lake they usually have helpers!Proud is an understatement!
And I love my town.... Today we celebrated the Five Star City Festival. They needed their faces painted.
Hopefully I'm caught up. New blog below....
