My life this week

So pre-baby I blogged that no one should come to my house because I didn’t like company, remember that???!!!  So, I changed my mind.  I like company now.  I have tried to recruit people to come and spend the night who can help entertain Ford and rock JB.  Thus far it has worked out beautifully.  Gran (my mom), Puddin (Trey’s mom), my friend Pam Wilson, and Taylor Heck (Puddin’s old law clerk and our friend) have all stayed.  Taylor also came to the hospital the day John Brantley was born.  She stayed with us last weekend and I handed the baby off when she walked in the door….
Ford playing in the car….

Puddin and Pops got YARD OF THE MONTH!!!!  The local newspaper called them and wanted to take their picture by the sign.  Pops declined the offer, but volunteered Ford for the job!  I had to bribe him with a sucker.  The lady from the paper got a CUTE picture of him.  I’ll post it next week.  Mayberry’s paper only comes out on Tuesday.  Not a lot goes on around here!!!!

Typical day….  Someone is always crying.

Okay, Ford LOVES John Brantley.  It’s almost annoying how much he is in his face.  Trey and I are constantly telling him to stop kissing, touching, and patting on him.  I’m so thankful he loves his brother, but we can’t get the child to leave him alone.

Mowing with Daddy… This is a special treat for Ford.  Trey lets Ford steer and he thinks he is BIG time.  I can’t drive those kinds of lawn mowers.

Oh and I made of fun Trey’s cool socks when he walked out to mow.  And would you know I GOT BLAMED for him having to wear them.  Apparently it’s my fault he looked nerdy.  I didn’t wash his clothes.  SHAME ON ME!

Those are the most kissable cheeks God ever made…

Driving his tractor in the dirt….

Ford was supposed to be cleaning up the typhoon of a mess he made in my living room.  I found him dressed like this.  He said he was using his blower to clean up.  Ha ha ha!!!  That is part of the mobile that was above his baby bed.  It now doubles as a blower and a weed eater.
Deep thoughts… or working on something in his diaper…??!!!

My little-big man is 4 weeks old!!!

My brother and sister in law were kind enough to allow Ford to spend the night tonight.  We met halfway and made the exchange.   She is MUCH braver than I am.  She took her three plus Ford out shopping.  At least they found something to play on!!!
And I made sure I packed Ford’s bag with everything he might need.  Ashley just sent me a text picture of this.  SURPRISE… they now have the Chinaman statue that we have been sending back and forth for 10 years now.  Wonder when I will get it back!!!!!!!?????
Lots of new blogs below……
