It's a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trey and I are excited to announce that we are having a boy. We went to the doctor on December 10th and were told it was a boy and all looks well. We feel so fortunate to have a healthy baby on the way. We don’t have a name picked out yet, but will be sure to let you all know as soon as we do.

As instructed by my sister in-law from www.sugarandspicemommyblogspot.com, I have added a new picture. The guidelines included adding a new picture from your fourth picture folder, selecting the fourth picture, and explaining it.
This is my wilder beast husband back in the day (he looks young) out hunting. You can see that he thinks he is all big and bad with his gun there. But as the picture shows, there is no sign of an animal he may have killed????

We're Expecting a Baby

WE’RE EXPECTING A BABY!!!!!!! Trey and I found out on Friday, September 5 that we were pregnant. We made a decision not to tell anyone until we knew everything was going to be okay. I had my first trip to the doctor on September 15. At that point all they did was confirm the pregnancy. Trey and I went back to the doctor together on October 1 for our first ultra sound. It was so amazing to see our little baby on the screen and to hear the doctor say that everything looked great. We decided to still keep the news from everyone. It became harder and harder for us to keep such a BIG secret so last night, on October 11 we told the family. We had everyone over to eat Trey’s gator that he killed a few weeks ago, and had a picture of the baby in mom’s birthday card. Needless to say they were all pretty shocked and Trey and I are just glad to have our secret out in the open now! We are due on May 8th!

Yard of the Month

So apparently Trey and I got “Yard of the Month.” We spent a long day out in DeSoto County putting up campaign signs and came home to find that we have the Yard of the Month sign in our yard. I screamed at first and then realized it was a dirty trick. We do not have the best looking yard in Senatobia by a long shot. Trey’s mom called the president of the garden club to report the sign stolen and to let the lady know that we had it in our yard and it turns out that we really did get Yard of the Month. I told Trey we must have gotten an “A” for effort because we have been trying to beautify our yard for the past year!!

The Neshoba County Fair

Trey and I have spent the last 2 days at the Neshoba County Fair politicking for his mom. There is nothing like some good July heat to get you feeling just right. We had a great time and were even able to snag a picture with Governor Haley Barbour and Lieutenant Governor Phil Bryant.
