Dressing Up for 100 Days

Our school loves to celebrate any occassion worth celebrating.   When you've been in school 100 days and you are 100 days smarter you should totally celebrate.   The fourth graders took it back 100 years and here's Annie's outfit....

To celebrate the conclusion of basketball, the moms put on a little party for the players....


Bitty got himself a goose and even asked Trey to cook it.   He tried it and said it wasn't good.

This is how studying goes with Annie.   She got tested and she's borderline ADHD.

On Wednesday nights, I help with the youth.   A few weeks ago, we had several Baddour residents come and join us....

Victor, Anne Turner, and Tommy had birthdays....

Poor Annie.... she has top and bottom expanders in her mouth and now she has to sleep in a beauty mask...


I don't think I'd do much sleeping....

It's All About Her

This year basketball is a bit different for Annie.   She is actually just playing with girls.   I am so excited because she is letting her light shine.   She is playing defensive like a boss.   I loved every minute of watching her play.

Annie went with our church to an overnight retreat in Hernando....











Saturday, after she played basketball, she got all dolled up for the Father/Daughter dance.   We spent a while getting everything just so only to realize we had NO shoes.   But Annie is Annie and that didn't matter.   She wore her new Nike blazers.

Hello 2025

I honestly don't know what happened during December.   I fekt like I was doggie paddling to keep my head above water.   Of course, I made a vow to get as much done well before Christmas so I could enjoy Christmas and not feel like a mad woman, BUT that didn't happen.  Christmas came fast and furious, as it always does, and I was a mad woman.  After the decorations were down that I put up insanelty early, I was able to breathe easier.  

Bitty gets ideas.  He sees things.   He makes plans.   He is into pancakes these days.   He makes pancakes most every Saturday morning.   And they're good.   I can screw up a pancake better than you can imagine.   I am not allowed to cook them.  Well, Bitty saw a commercial for IHOP.   He wanted to go.   I am the dream maker, so I took the kids to IHOP in Southaven.   The food was good.   After the meal I went to the bathroom which I shared with an employee.  The lady came out of stall and did NOT wash her hands.   That sealed the deal for me.   Never again.   I left an online review and later I called the manager.   Oh, and she was the cook!

Here we go second semester....

We went to school for a hot minute and the snow came.... It was a wet snow.   And I didn't play in it!

Trey wanted to go to Memphis.   We went to the Peabody, Texas De Brazil, the Bass Pro





He got his veneers...

For several years Trey has worked tirelessly to eliminate the income tax.   Last Thursday he presented HB1 and it passed in the House.
