HOCO 2024

So they got slightly shortchanged on homecoming this year since it was the same week as fall break.   That's ok though.   Less stress for me in the dress up department.   Bitty isn't into being festive, ever!

Here's the oops we forgot to take a picture of Daddy (Coach Trey) and Bitty during peewee season so let's go in the backyard and recreate.

I went by the Baddour Center the other day to get some software help and saw Joe.   He told me he got a new monkey named "Goldie" after The Golden Girls.   Love it!

Anne Turner was full of questions.   Where are your kids?   Why aren't you at school?   Where is your husband?   You should work here.

Spontaneous Lake Trip

I told Trey for weeks that I wanted to do something for fall break.   Since Ford plays JV and varsity football an actual trip is hard with games and practices.   Well, I continued to ask.   Friday morning I was headed out the door to sub and he said we would go to the football game at Heritage and then head to Smith Lake in Alabama.  

I am not spontaneous.   I am uptight, Type A, need to plan for 3 weeks kind of girl.   But I legit threw some stuff in a bag and we went.

We arrived about midnight after the game.

Trey and the littles went to a store they found about 20 minutes away and loaded up on groceries that we ate every meal.






I got some vitamin D.

He stayed connected to the outside world.

Annie had a hard weekend.   She beat up on people.

The water was too cold for Jill.
