The Games Have Begun

So we moved into our house when Annie was ten days old.   A ten day old baby doesn't need a shower, so we never bought her a shower door.   Fast forward to 9 years later and her daddy said it's time for her to move into her own bathroom.   Now this bathroom has cost me a lot more than a shower door.   I have had to buy towels, rags, products, and all the things she thinks she might need.
It's football season time.   And with that comes:  peewee, junior high and varsity.  Wednesday night the boys laid out their attire and Annie kindly tried it on.

Thursday morning came with A LOT of hype!!!!  So much excitement to kick off the season.

Thursday was the junior high pep rally.

Ford, Griff, and Landry were captains....

Peewee game....

Bitty is #4 but he accidentally grabbed Annie's jersey #44.  He's a running back...

Ford is #2....He's the QB.

Hot.   Tired.   Dirty.

Friday night at 5:30 the head football coach called Trey.   He said he had one QB and needed Ford to dress out for the 7:00 game.   Trey started yelling for Ford.   Before 5:45 we were turning into the school on two wheels.

Representatives McMillan, Lamar, Keen, and Hawkins

Ford was #34

I didn't think he'd play but he finished half of the third quarter and played all of the fourth.

Proud Daddy

Puh takes the back to school shopping in August.  It has now turned into sending her an Amazon link.   Annie wanted a desk.  Daddy spent 2 hours putting it together on Saturday.

Gaines spent the night and Bitty and him made pancakes.
My mom's cousin, Brad, emailed me asking if I wanted a clock that was a family heirloom.   He sent it to me, and I think it looks lovely.

I just love her.

Free Tickets Cost Me

Last year Oliver was fighting for his life in St. Jude and now he's suited up and playing peewee football.

The Kidders had some free tickets to the Lainey Wilson concert for Conrad's birthday and he invited Annie to go.   These free tickets cost me quite a bit in an acceptable outfit.

Meet the Chiefs.... my #2 is the QB

Football pictures....

The Hill family bought the house next door and I couldn't be more excited!!!!!   These boys helped move limbs that Mr. Walt cut down.

Annie saw Mary Ryan after her softball practice.

When you get your hair done but it's raining.

Annie's new softball team got to stand with the MHS softball team during the national anthem.

The first Friday night of football....

Regan and I had concession stand duty...

And Anne Walker and Sydney spent the night

It's not everyday that you get a sandwich named after you....
