The newest edition to our family arrived on Monday at lunchtime. John Cooper “Jack” Anthony was born. I am so proud to have a nephew and for Ford to have a male cousin now. He was been caught pushing around a baby stroller full of baby dolls one too many times while playing with Molly Cate and Caroline. I really thought seeing Baby Jack would make me get the “baby bug” and want another one really quick, but I didn’t get it. I will just enjoy Jack for the time being.
The little guy had a bath right after this. I didn’t get a picture of him all cute and sweet in his new clothes.
After seeing Jack we stopped by a Mexican joint to grab a bite to eat. Ford loves the chips and salsa.
The other night I was trying to cook supper all the while Ford is screaming “Hold you Momma.” I couldn’t exactly hold him and cut up raw chicken at the same time. So I gave him the mixer and told him to put it together. It was a fine idea and bought me about 10 minutes of cooking time.
As stated in my last blog, I got a new ring for Christmas. Several of you asked to see a picture. I did the best I could… sorry if it’s blurry. I am hoping the new hardware will take attention away from my old wrinkly looking hands. Trey has made fun of them for years!
I work hard all day and come home to this…
That was just the guest bed too. My bed was also covered in clothes and towels. I managed to get most of them folded last night all the while cleaning up behind Ford who has the stomach bug. Yes, he had it back in October as well and kindly gave it to me too. I am expecting the worst… that I will get it again. It’s fast weight loss at least… but pure you know what to go through.
Ford saying ... "I ride car, Momma."
We don’t have big weekend plans. I guess we will be around here trying to get well and watching the Super Bowl.
