If you are just now tuning in you will want to read parts 1 and 2 before you begin part 3.
September
September was nice….
A kitten appeared in our backyard. Ford loved the kitty kitty but I am not a big fan so it had to find a new home.
September was also the month that our babysitter’s husband had surgery and we had to find people to keep Ford for 15 days. Aunt Ashley, Molly Cate and Caroline came to the rescue one day. What a big day they had.
Ford got into some of my Crystal Light drink mixes. It tasted delicious and he was rather upset when I took it away.
We had a snake in our carport.
Daddy’s boots
Dove hunting
Playing the drums. Oh what fun he had…
Birthday party… and a train ride.
He has no home training. We just let him get into the birthday party ice chest
He learned to use the water fountain Fishing on our new property
He didn’t like the fish Daddy caught
His $2.00 Wal-Mart shortsTrey sent me flowers to school just because

I had another good friend to get married in Charleston , SC. Two of my friends from high school said they were flying out and weren’t bringing their husbands so I did the same.

Now this was a Big Day. Trey took Ford to ride on a combine. He had the biggest time and came back screaming to me with excitement.
Walking down a creek while 4-wheeler riding one day
This is what happens when I leave Ford unattended for 20 seconds
I had fall break for 2 days in mid-October. Trey took us to lunch one day. We opted for eating outside since Ford is known to draw attention to himself and disturb others. He can’t sit still for more than a few minutes and decided he needed to explore this house/restaurant where we were eating. He found a golf-cart and was some kind of excited.
Ford and I went to pick out some pumpkins
The lady at the store gave him a baby pumpkin
I told Trey previous to us buying the pumpkins that I was going to buy one to represent each one of us. When Trey got home that afternoon he saw this sitting on the back steps. He came in and very calmly wanted to know why there was a tiny pumpkin on the back steps. He thought that was my way of telling him I was pregnant!!!! Ha ha ha…
BathHe looks like such a big boy
Now it’s love when you drive 4 hours one way to a baby shower and then 4 hours back home the same day. I would only do it for a few people.
Usually when I leave Ford with someone other than myself (even Trey) I give that person specific babysitting instructions because I am very type A and over protective. One particular day I left Ford in the care of my parents, Gran and BoomPa, and didn’t leave explicit instructions. Gran didn’t move Ford’s basket in his room next to his bed and he played in the Vaseline while she thought he was sleeping. It was a nightmare trying to get that stuff out.
The process The products used
Ohhh how I love dress up day at school. During homecoming week they theme each day as something fun to dress up as. One day was career day. I chose to dress up like our maintenance man at school… along with several others.

Puddin and Pops took us to Elaine, AR to stay at some friends’ “cabin” if you will for a night. If that’s “roughin it” I can rough it more often.
Ford and a baby deer

I wanted Ford to be a clown for Halloween, which I was told I would pay for later in life by my child, and was having a hard time finding a costume I liked. Puddin offered to make Ford’s outfit.

Trey sent me an e-mail today to inform me that I neglected to add to our list of doings in 2010 that 3 of his friends got married and he bought a new truck. We did a lot of other fun things, but I didn’t have pictures to document everything.
2010 really has been an amazing year. We have so much to be thankful for and are so blessed. You know blogging takes up a lot of time that I really don’t have but I know one day I will look back and be so thankful that I have documented our little journey through life. I am glad you all have taken the time to read my gibberish I entertain you all with on a weekly basis. I will try to be more creative in 2011. And if anyone is wondering out in blog world, because many friends/family have wondered in the regular world, NO we are not pregnant and I don’t plan to make such a large announcement anytime soon. We are enjoying Ford and loving watching him grow up into a little boy. For now we will remain a family of three.
Much love from the Lamar family
