40mm Screw in His Arm

Ford and Annie went to Oxford so we took Bitty to the Como Steak House...

The last weekend Ford was able to play baseball.

The last few weeks Ford has been dealing with an inflamed growth plate in his right elbow/arm He’s been very conservative on what’s he’s done so he wouldn’t aggravate it. We agreed to let him go to a football camp on Saturday at JA in Jackson. On his 8th throw he heard a pop. His arm is broken at the growth plate and he will have surgery tomorrow where a screw will be put in his arm to help it heal.

We are sad. He’s sad. Pray for complete healing of his arm, and that he doesn’t go stir crazy being limited on what he can do.

He knows this is all part of the Lord’s plan.

He's a Teenager

Wow…. 13! “The Bit” is a teenager. Bitty is all things: he’s wild and he’s calm. He’s loving, smart, witty, stubborn, athletic, picky, wise, helpful, annoying, needy, humorous, resourceful, and just all around fun!!!

To know him is to love him. He’s definitely the child who will send me to an early grave, yet I don’t think he could love me more if he tried. He might end up being the one who takes care of me.

Bitty is super smart and has more common sense than most people I know. I am confident he could work his way out of a tough situation or survive on his own for days.

He knows what he wants and will not waiver. I cannot imagine where life will take him, but I’m so glad I’ll have a front row seat to watch!!!!

Unfortunately, I had to leave Bit on his birthday and go with Ford to Fayetteville for baseball.

Bitty has wanted a bigger bed for a while.   He finally got a queen.

Ford's team played Walker's team.   Walker's mom was my little sis in Tri Delt.

I got a new ride....

And a tree fell down across our driveway...

We Took Over West

Bitty gets on kicks.   It can be anything from a TV show, to food, to cool pencils at school.   He's currently on a fishing kick.    Fishing can be an expensive hobby too might I add.

Annie wanted to try her hand at tennis, so she has been taking lessons the last few weeks and seems to enjoy it.

I brought Sarah Lynne to one of Ford's baseball games.
