I've not been a fan of a birthday party for years. It's a lot of work and a lot of chaos. You really don't get to bond with your child and then the party is over.
Annie and Birdie have enjoyed going to stay in a hotel and shopping the last few years. I thoroughly enjoy this activity, myself!
This year it was Memphis. They wanted to stay at The Peabody, but we couldn't get a room so we opted for The Memphian.
I went on up to Memphis to check in and decorate the room while Callie grabbed the girls from school...
Yeah.... I might overpack everywhere I go....
Since we couldn't stay at The Peabody, we still went. The girls got to be duck commanders....

We had supper at Porch & Parlor because they wanted steak...

Breakfast...
We ended with ice cream...
They had a large time and we did too....
